I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Ozzy is the Godfather of Rock. I have followed his music from Black Sabbath till now. Between Tony Iomma, Randy Rhodes, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde (Randy Reborn), they have really inspired me in my guitar playing. Though I still suck at it, I won't give up. I started listening to Sabbath in the 80's, and really enjoyed it. Now I still enjoy them, but I would much rather listen to the older Ozzy tunes; Killer of Giants, Fire in the Sky, Beliver, and so on. To answer the question "Why I'm a fan"? Why not? Ozzy still rules in my oppinion. May there be many more years to the Ozzy Legacy.
