I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Ozzy's been there, done it, learned from it, grown and still stayed true to himself, family and fans. He's had his ups and downs and struggles with self as I can attest that I have as well. He's always bounced back a better person for it and his music tells a wonderful story completely intertwined with the moments of madness. I've been rockin to the Master since I was 16 years old and I just turned 41. NO one puts out more energy, enthusiasm and a true love of seeing his fans enjoyment at a live show and I've seen many......AC/DC, Scorpions, Nugent, Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot, Yngwie Malmsteen, Tesla, Def Leppard, Nazareth, Metallica (who opened for Ozzy on his Ultimate Sin tour while promoting their Master of Puppets album). Sorry Metallica, Ozzy smoked your arses. I even ran into what would soon become my future wife at that show in Columbus, OH and we have now been together for 21 years...over half our lives!
Oh yeah, and I've seen Ozzy and seen Ozzy and seen Ozzy and .....you get the point. I could fill the page with the bands I've seen over the years and no one makes you feel like he feels more than the OZZMAN! I would give up every concert I could possibly see in the future just to see Ozzy live again and would love to simply shake his hand for some insights to myself I gained through following his music and his life as the top dog in music as well as the valleys in his personal life from which he climbed. My hats off to the Prince. Keep rockin Ozzy, it keeps you young at heart though you have the wisdom of an old soul.
