Brilliant read

Just finished Ozzy's biography. Man, what a read! It's hilarious, sad, mad, bad and if someone sat down and wrote it as a work of fiction...no one would believe it. You'd say, Nah, that's too far out and just unbelievable. The fact that it's all true is mind-blowing.

What comes across mostly, for me, is the humour. If Ozzy hadn't been a rocker, he could have been a comedian. There is quite literally a laugh on every page. I've heard it said, that tragedy and comedy are common bed-fellows; this book copper fastens that cliché.

The honesty is funny but also, almost painful at times. It is one of the best biographies that I have ever read. It bears testament to Life, Love and Endurance (what the human body can put up with is 'unreal').

Above all it's a love story; and not only in the context of Ozzy and Sharon. You'll understand when you read it.
I read it in 2 days and am going back through it again to pick out the best bits. If this story doesn't make you, at least once, laugh out loud; then you're already dead.

If I had to sum up this book in one word, it would be (f***ing) BRILLIANT!

I've been an Ozzy fan from day one, when I invested my 'paper-round' money on my first 'LP' (I'm 55 years old). Still a fan; it's an addiction and to get rid of an addiction, you have to WANT to give it up....ain't happening any time soon ;)
