thats a very well used saying here in australia,,i meant no indication to spammers,,never crossed my mind,,i was saying that that saying is me most of the time

gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL

just don't throw spam with an "m" into the works gimp. it's a real issue with the website and it sends conflicting messages if you do that even in joking. not cool. my vote. my opinion. and do i need to repeat the saying? or do you got it memorized by now.

---
opinions, they're like @ssholes, we all have them and sometimes they stink.

hhmmmmmm a hoot,,is that a good thing,,,isnt that the sound the a wise owl makes when talking wisdom ha ha ha ha ha ha ,,and if thats the case then thank you for the compliment,,and so are you the eggplant,,well i wouldnt of described you as that, and relly at this point i have no description of you ,i did before but its changed to well im not sure ,,and thats a good thing from my perspective,,its good to be ellusive and dark and keep people wondering,,i like to do that to everybody, just when they think theyve figured me out ,,BAM some new side of the gimp emerges, and so the spanner is thrown into the works

you, gimp, are a hoot. hard to argue with any of that. i'm just stirring the pot, or agitating it. i really don't like just women things too much either, 'cept professional ones cuz then there's a whole roomful of pragmatic, straight-foward, strong businesswomen like me - and we can let our hair down and be 100% ourselves just for a day. while there is still a spectrum within these types of clubs, the lack of guile is marked.

i hate gossip, and certainly it's for damn sure you'd never find my @ss in a "traditional" all female club of any sort, that would be like having an eggplant in the same room as a bunch of cherry blossoms. i wouldn'a fit in. and though there'd be alot of niceness initially extended, eventually i'd be the badly tuned piano in a beautiful orchestra of light airy sound. people would stare. and i'd be finding myself all awkward. but, it sounds like you'd fit right in...hmmm. curious, that.

LOL!!!!!!!

well blades im not like any other guy i know ,,and my wife can come with me anywhere i go ,she is my best friend,,,and i dont go to a all guys event ,,as you said there is to much testosterone,,and im sick of the same ol convo's that break out at all guy dribble,,,,,i go to a all old lady's art day on wednesdays, and they dont mind at all,,-- i think if we didnt segragate events ,such as male and female events ,,wouldnt it be a nicer planet and men would start to understand women just a fraction more and same goes with women at mens functions,,,i think understanding of ones neighbour is were we as a whole have to start from,,from little things big things grow,,,this is just my thoughts on this matter,,,

--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL

nope. how would you feel if your wife wanted to come along on a guys activity? ... might fill her fantasies, all that testosterone in one spot, and she the only female, but would'ja want her around? things are different, don't ya think, when it's all just the boys. well, same here. so pffft.

womens meeting ,,can i come along too

gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL

it's an end of the year holiday celebration LD, for a woman's professional association i belong to. i asked a couple of women who's opinion i trust and they said the place is pretty cool, so i guess it's not what i was thinking at all. my picture? a dusty boneyard, break out the jeans and bring a hanky cuz yer gonna be a sneezin' honey. an old coot yamming on while you try to eat. au contraire, these women said it's very nice, and interesting.

I will read it again around Christmas when the german edition is out.
And gimp is not reading yet. The poor sod still hasnt got it.

cool-io LD!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you finished. except, the first-time journey is really kind of nice too. I'm waiting and will start it again in a few weeks. given my age, that'll be about the time the senility has completely rubbed away any memory of most of what I read, making it new and exciting again LOL.

and gimp - are you actually reading it yet?

ok im a slow GIMPLE

Finished!!!!!!!
Hell, that was a good read.
I never thought someone can tell a funny story about having a colonoscopy.
Well, Ozzy can hahahahaha.
All I can say is:
to be continued.

i think it's very understated, and funny. as well as interesting to read. it is well done ~*

Bet'cha it's got a lot of just keeping up with the social changes.

:o) you're just curious as all get to read the book, admit it gimp ~* i agree Madozzy, it's a great read. i keep going back to parts of it at random and chilling for a few minutes enjoying the reflections and all. the hilarity, however, really comes out when you read it front to back. Ozzy! BIG HUGS!!!!!

hey madozzy fan its in the book stores here ,my son seen it but didnt buy it ,,so i will have two copies, one to go to the shrine and one to kill with my eyes,,dont worry madozzy,,i suspect its to be savoured like a good wine,,
oh and by the way im still not here ha ha ha ha ha in this thread ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Holy hell, that was the best book i've ever read! Seriously, SO funny its amazing, crying with laughter repeatedly....as you read all the tour incidents you have to marvel everything was true! But that's Ozz for you, awesomely crazily out of sync with reality in his youth. But makes the most epic life stroy ever!!!

I love how open Ozz was, it revealed sides of him that had previously been hidden or warped by the press, like his real relationship with his mother. Don't know if her last words to him were hilarious or sad...

Read it non stop and finished in about 5hrs.. wish it could've been longer though. Glad he finally managed to write his autobiography with maturity and a clear head, its a great read. Into the brain of the Osbourne!

I love my signed copy but i think i may buy a new one for reading, it's gonna be more worn out than my copy of How Black Was Our Sabbath...which is now 50% sellotape..lol!

And for gawd's sake gimp, get a copy!!!! Is epic. Best prezzie Ozz could have given us fans. Aside from an album at Xmas of course..! But who am i to complain..

You're my religion, you're my reason to live.
You are the heaven in my hell.
We've been together for a long long time,
And i just can't live without you.
No matter what you do, i'm here for you......

im not here ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

:o) it is that way. it's very honest and well written.

My reading has slowed down a bit as there were a few things I had to take care of this week and the last one. I could only manage to read a few pages before I went to sleep. because of that I'm still somewhere in the middle. I'm still laughing all the time but when I think of the stories its like o my god that wasnt fun when it happened. Anyway you just have to laugh. Then theres a lot of pages where Ozzy is getting very serious after telling such a story and explaining the whole thing which makes a lot of sense.
I liked the fact that he gave the story with Bob Daisly and Lee Kerslake and makes it cristal clear what positon they had at that time.
And at nearly every single page I think that he could tell many more things and I hope there'll be a resumption

so what do you think LD?

I can't seem to see you baby ... although my eyes are open wide ... but I know I'll see you once more ... when I see you, I'll see you on the other side

right on Fozzy - I would DEFINITELY NOT let that one be a loaner, or re-read. :-)

If I would have a signed copy I would keep it in good condition, too.
.
I'm still cracking up laughing all the time.
I got the pictures of the movie that might be done out of this book in mind already. If someone would have made a screenplay like this without the "real" background everyone would say. No, we cant do that its way over the top hahaha.

I'm gonna have to buy myself another copy of thebook tomorrow.
The copy I've just read is the one which Ozzy signed last week at the Birmingham book signing, so I wanna keep it in good condition.
If I read that copy a few more times and then posssibly lend it to a few friends to have a read then it'll looking a bit shabby before long, so I think I'll keep that one in a nice save place out of harms way, and get my arse down to the bookshop and get myself another copy of this brilliant book, its well worth forking the money out again.
