I think Ozzy should relaunch "She's Gone"...it is a great love song and relevant today.

Great song, next to changes I think it is one of the best ballads Ozzy has ever done. I would love to hear a modern take, recording of it, and like you am somewhat surprised he hasn't done it already. As for why or for whom it was written about...

I believe it was inspired by his first marriage failing with Thelma, and foreshadowed the divorce they would later go through in 1981....

Ozzy:"I have no regrets except that I wasn't up to keep Randy (Rhoads) from getting on that plane." (Ozzy Osbourne, Guitar World Issue 37, 2000)

what do you like about that song? if my recollection serves me, all four of the guys were married (maybe not by Technical Ecstasy? were some divorced at the time?)...so, i wonder who would have been feeling that way, and about whom?

All i will say is...oh the Sabbath copyright issues! But it is a gorgeous song, however almost impossible it would be to re-release.

You are the heaven in my hell.
We've been together for a long long time,
And i just can't live without you.
