which leads me right back to the question i asked a long time ago Asylum...have you reached out to any support groups or counselors around you? maybe you're enjoying the torment and expression of anguish, that's becoming your identity - it fits like a comfortable shoe? or you're letting fear override your taking positive action in your situation. regardless of mental health issues, there are support groups out there that can help. you are not the only one (a humbling acknowledgement, but a freeing one at the same time) with your problems or home situation. why not learn to live with optimism instead of pessimism and the victim perspective. trust others like yourself, and do something now before you form a permanent outlook on life.

I said "f*** you!" at the end of the third to last one, and I'm pretty sure most if not all of you will too.

generally speaking i am not either gimp, in fact, beyond that song i don't know of one other that i like that she sings.

but that song + her voice = one of those beyond things. amazing. makes me feel soooo sad every time i hear it, just like Ozzy's "See You On The Other Side." same idea in both songs, same chord struck deep within. one sung by a woman, one by a man. and what a man i might add (heh heh). lol ;o)

what can i say.

i didn't like tina dico. shhhh. don't tell LD.

im sorry im not a celine dion fan,,her voice grates against my spine and i want to kill ha ha ha ha ha ha nah not really just jokin--
LD put a link up before of tina dico,,and i have her album now

the only one that played is the second one though. the first said:

This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions.

okay, here's one that i try my hardest but always cry every single time i hear it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHyJTpDFgc8

"why is it always shadows of the real thing" ...i guess because with wise eyes, i just see that is how this lifetime will roll out. it's very depressing truth be told.

thats a pretty cool song,,mrs gimp likes this aussie singer,,i think the voice is a bit raspy but ,you may like her ,,casey chambers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdEefQWXPR8&feature=PlayList&p=C0CA21359D...

I liked the last video, that was all right. I like Goth metal, but not so much honestly. It just hasn't clicked heavily with me. Going back some years (like 20 or 30 give or take?), here's some more songs that click with me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRxS7Q64xUQ (Black Coffee)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5zEfML7Lzw (Wind on the Water: To the Last Whale) ... if you're wanting the lyrics, a good place to start is at around 2:04

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_D9nnCc0jlA (It's a Long Way There)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EkJRy3gIS4 (Midnight Rider). the indomitable free spirit...damn.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEG0-3xlAkg (Hair of the Dog). ahhhh, the challenge of an independent man, one hot enough to catch and keep your eye. and (on rare occasion, in secret anyway) a song about hot-$hit girls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtFvzJ7bEQI (On the Hunt). now what red-blooded teenage wild girl didn't get the damn shivers hearing this song? holy crap. still gives this woman the shivers today.

see, i grew up a hippy @ss southern rock (with long haired way too cool guys in black hats, but nothin' like a cowboy darlin') kinda girl. that flavor was soooo me.

wow yeah definatly a blast from the past --how about some new sounds,,this band i really like maybe not metal but i love the singing,,i give you FAUN
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oYmc9WTdSs
and from the nineties the 3rd and the mortal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKKcPqE20bs&feature=PlayList&p=A53709951A...
the 3rd and the mortals female singer has a beautiful voice and here is some solo stuff and this clip is very trippy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zz4pTMN3abw (Voices Carry) ...because i've experienced that personality and treatment from my kids dad, an ultra-conservative in public, and it cracked me up when it came out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWSk30Y9Qp8 (From a Distance). This song grabbed me when i first heard it, it's beautiful.

>>shifting gears - or octaves, and decades...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_HJ_68xeoE (Still Loving You) wow. i loved this song in the day. i was in my twenties.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggv__VHe-24 (Tale of Brave Ulysses) flash back or what?!?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xoke1wUwEXY (No Matter What)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfuRz1w_8ss (So Happy Together)

wow, talk about a blast from the past :o)

here's some songs that spoke to me from the time i first heard them...

this song always gets me deep inside ~an old but classic one. it says something i so can relate to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irU5oihACj4 (Me & Bobby McGee). as an aside ~ this cut is cool, it's the first time recorded in the studio. the vocals are incredible.

this is one that i just LOVE (whoooot). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oRKvpZ7PjE (White Rabbit). what a set of lungs, and singing it gets the blood pumpin 4sure.

and then there's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QWv6U7cX3Q (Hunter) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVN2ORnoKsE (Life for Rent)

and last, but not least, a song i love to sing to my baby girl...wow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYpVvCK477g (Angel Standing By). I think it's beautiful.

shhhhhhh dont tell anyone yeah i like floyd,,and there is one album of dire straits that i absolutely love ,,,love over gold..the song telegraph road really gets me ,

i love that song "For You." I hope you're reaching out to other kids that share your issues Asylum. They'll call you on your whinges and will comfort you as nothing else can. Remaining isolated is not a good thing.
