i think i downloaded the file, but i'm not positive. i can't remember! but i definitely listened to it, and remember hearing funky and some sweet songs for them. each of us has our impressions of Ozzy, and of Sharon. i have some particular issues with Sharon and her behaviors over the years with Ozzy because of my own life perspectives...but we are all different~* 's what makes the world go round!

f_darkbladeus, regarding your question about that BBC Radio prog' it sounds like the show I was on. That was earlier this year, around April time I think or maybe May.

But yes, people who were selected got to ask their question, but once the preparation for that show got underway, there were a huge amount of people who didn't get their question into the final edit. I suspect I was lucky because of my song choice being included and it was easier to keep my question and reaction, etc in than to mess around with it too much.

The question you would have asked him would have been funny. Just to hear him try to get a word in edgeways, but I just can't feel bad about Sharon. (I know you're right with what you say about her too).

cool. i think i remember listening to a BBC radio clip where people were asking them questions and they were playing songs that were recommended. it was this year. was this recently for you?

i would have asked Ozzy - Ozzy, (and please Sharon, let Ozzy answer this), if you could control how many pets live in your home, and the type...how many would you have, and what type would they be?

I'd be curious to hear what he has to say honestly. Sharon probably would interrupt anyways and give us her take - especially if Ozzy took too long to speak, or stuttered, or said something she doesn't like.

Everyone already knows by the plethora of animals all over their home that she wants tons and tons. But I would like to know what Ozzy thinks.

On that radio programme, I ended up only getting the chance to ask one question. So I asked Sharon if she was to join Ozzy's band, what instrument would she play?

The answer was the bass guitar, because she felt that it was an easier instrument to play than any other. Ozzy then added that he felt the bass wasn't as easy to play as people think, etc.

It was interesting and I'm glad I overcame my nerves. They also played a song that I recommended for Ozzy and Sharon. I chose the song "Frenzy" by Screaming Jay Hawkins because for some reason I could imagine them being silly and doing some weird dance to it. heehee..

Good luck with your purchase, and if it isn't too much hassle, I'd be interested to hear how you got on. Regarding the hoodie and the coloring, you are so right. All rock bands that I've seen that have hoodies in their merchandise range go for black. I like black, but it would be cool for a change to bring out some more colorful stuff. I wish I'd thought of that. Good idea though.

wow. i got other stuff from www.argoth.co.uk/, and never have that problem. that is weird. i haven't tried buying anything from the Official Ozzy store though. you sound like me - persistent with wanting to be taken care of, and i would be just as annoyed.

I will have to get something and report back my experience. As an aside, the prices on his stuff are pretty good. i want to see what his new imagery is with his new album. that's what i want to buy a hoodie to advertise it to all and beyond. it would be nice to have a woman's colors tho - not just all back stuff. but i will deal with whatever comes about.

I'm not impressed with the official Ozzy store. After getting the chance to ask Ozzy and Sharon a question on BBC radio 2 earlier this year, I decided to treat myself.

I bought a hoodie and a mug. :) They had to travel across the 'pond' to the UK, and when it eventually arrived, it was held up at my local post office. I had to pay an extra £26 due to a customs charge, and when I called the helpdesk for the official merchandise shipping people, to ask them why was I being charged extra on top of paying for their goods, they were unhelpful and unsympathetic. I mean I paid postage and packing on top of the price of the goods, and I did NOTHING wrong. All in all, I don't necessarily like passing the blame onto others, but someone somewhere was to blame.

By the way, I find the artwork associated with Ozzy products very cool, apart from the cover of the "Paranoid" album back in the Black Sabbath days. heehee..

welcome ~* i noticed this was your first (but now your reply is your second) entry here. what'd ja get at the store? i just went to a site with some old ozzy stuff, and got myself to pins from his early Sabbath years (OMG!!!!!) now I can wear flair at work (LOL). my black dress slacks, white pressed shirts, all very business professional don't cha know, and...my freaking OZZY pins (HEHEHEHEHEH)
