I understand Ozzy has been having ailing health issues the last couple of years come Ozzfest time, but I just can't that Metallica of all people FINALLY decides to hop aboard, now that Ozzy is only doing ONE show! TOTAL BS, from my perspective, one of the biggest bills ever, and now loyal fans have to miss out because it's way to f'n expensive to try and make a show that far away. I haven't missed an Ozzfest yet. Been there for the Unbelievable ones, and the not so good ones. Year in and year out. NOW, they pick DALLAS, to hold the ONLY one?! It just sucks to have to miss out because they're only doing one venue. As a HUGE fan of both those headliners mentioned, this blows severely. What about those of us that have helped pay the bills just as much? What do WE get? It's bad enough that most bands won't/don't come to play in the Green Bay area much as it is, but now NO OZZFEST for one of the biggest best selling band favorite, Alpine Valley at least!? WOW. :(
