Rudy Sarzo on "That Metal Show" this weekend confirmed that all continues to go well, and the tour this summer is still on.

Having had a Barium Enema X Ray that hurt like nobodies business, so to have a colonoscopy will be just as bad. Lets face it nothing is meant to go up there, and thats for sure. I wish him well

Get well soon. My best wishes are with you.

Posted March 12 on ronniejamesdio.com. Worth the read. Obviously, somebody is reading e-mails and posts about RJD.
Well, now it has been Ronnie’s 7th chemo, another cat scan and another endoscopy, and the results are good – the main tumor has shrunk considerably, and our visits to Houston are now every three weeks instead of every two weeks.
Ronnie and Vinny went down to the studio to have a listen and see how the DVD is coming along, NOT to overdub anything as presumed by Hoss2112 or Shattered 73 on the Blabbermouth rants. I was very annoyed to read these comments, and if they were truly fans of Ronnie’s, they would know #1) that Ronnie is a SINGER and does not need to overdub a live show, and #2) He would never cheat his fans by overdubbing a Live DVD. I will not be showing these comments to Ronnie, as I know they would hurt and upset him as they did me. He has been going to the REHEARSAL studio to sing, not the recording studio!
Ronnie’s cousin Rock (from The Rods, who used to be in Elf with him) flew in from New York to visit Ronnie for a week and they enjoyed spending some time together, going to the movies and taking walks, and Ronnie and Rock went to the studio to master Rock’s new album, which Ronnie sings a track on. And Craig Goldy will be coming over to start writing new songs with Ronnie next week. It will be great to see him again, as he has been away touring with the British band Budgie.
That’s all I can think of right now until the next update. God bless you all and we are still reading all the wonderful cards and letters.
Many, many thanks,
Wendy Dio

The BIG PC they say mainly happens to blokes who do not keep in practice shall we say! There is an olde adage about the brain which could be releated to this "Use it or loose it"!
My late ex future father in law had it and lasted many yerars, until he was unfortunately consumed by it. My dear olde dad had his lasered out and a section of bowl cut out and is STILL CLEAR, unlike my late beloved mother who surcumed to a third bout, which very sadly took her from us far to early!
So IF IN DOUBT GET IT CHECKED OUT! The earlier they catch these things, the more luikely you can be cured!

honestly if i got it ,i would like a quick outa here and not be given a time ,,just drop off me perch quick like,, and 82 when the doc told me i had graves disease it freaked me ,so if i was told that i dont know how i would take it,,

i'm just not liking all the chemicals in the name of boxed convenience that have backed up in our bodies and will eventually come a'calling. that plus the plastics and aluminum we have everything conveniently packaged & microwaved in that by default get ingested in small quantities...until in the end it's a bad scene. and wow, 82, that is not a good conversation to have had with the doctor. although if ya think of it this way, for some there never is a heads up, it's just lights out instantaneously with no chance to say goodbye. i'm not sure which is better. the older we get, the more we think of how the final days are gonna come down. i know i do. i've a will and trust for my kids for that very reason. and i try not to worry about that. but i do tell my kids to enjoy each moment for the next one may not come. to love each other because they are all they have. and to be ok with keeping on that one day when they turn around and i'm gone. that it's for sure that my love will always be around them 360, making sure they are okay. and all it will take is a whisper and i'll be there, if there is anyway possible for me to be.
f..k cancer!!!
My mom got it a few years back. Shes allright at the moment.
Hmmm. All Doc Hottie told me was "It's not good." I'm thinking 5 years would be great, but you know, I don't even wish cancer on people that I totally dislike. (I would have said 'hate' but I don't want anybody to hink I'm a hater.) I hope things work out for him and he gets a lot more than 5 years.
i just found out today a friend of mine was diagnosed with prostrate cancer,,he went to see the doc and got his results back today --all bad,,maybe some hope after ,as he said five thousand tests,,we'll see ,,and the doc tried to make a joke of it,saying if you gonna kill yourself in the next five years dont worry about the cancer,,so you guy ozznoids out there get the test ,,, just make sure

gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
yes he is a survivor
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
very very sad , funny how ozzy of all people is still alive, a true survivor as it says rocks chosen warrior
Dio's cancer is in the early stages so they are very optimistic,
hey 82 I thought your voice was similar to Dio's... unfortunely not, serious: how are you?
i think metal wise and humour wise ,82 is a encyclopedia of torment ,
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
hahaha
we already know that you havent lost your humor on your way.
ha ha haha ha ha good one 82,,crappy diem LOL,,and i agree every filthy black cloud has a gray lining
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
Yeah, the day you get that diagnosis is sure a crappy diem. The neat thing is that after you start treatment and you do something ignorant (not that I ever have) you get to blame it on the chemo and people accept that. Hey, there's a gray lining in every black cloud.
Dio's age will NOT be working in his favor, but I believe that he's in generally good health. It's not to hard for me to believe that he could be back on stage by next X-mas.
yes life is to be enjoyed,,carpi dium ,,(not sure about spelling),,,
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
well, some of us struggle with things in our lifetime...i'm sure things have popped up for him maybe like cancer, who knows. maybe 82 doesn't want to share in an open forum like this. i'm cool with that. and i can respect peoples privacy :o).
bottom line is, we're racing against the odds each day we get older. if it's not cancer it will be a truck, a flu, heart attack, assault, or whatever.
funny how some in younger years toy with suicide and death - because it's an easier path then getting honest and getting help for chronic abuse or mental health issues. then they get help, get older, and feel like they're alive each day by the grace of God cuz so much happens that can end things in an instant. the preciousness of life is not taken so much for granted i think, the older we get, provided we obtain an ounce of wisdom in our days.
interesting that it's in his stomach, i wonder if that is linked to the ingestion of all these stupid chemicals our foods are processed with.
oh no 82. I hope you're doing allright. I would be happy if you would tell us.
The only things I can say is that my thoughts are with you.
.
Asylum, if someone like gimp whos always talking doesnt have words anymore, that is a statement.
T'is a place to get an education is it not!

What does that mean, girlinmypantsnoid, are you mute? (Asylum walks away, muttering to the voices inside his head, cat got his tongue? ...Earl got his tongue?)

Priceless!:
Kurt Cobain: And I swear that I don't have a gun.
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
what's that mean Ozzien, have you had stomach cancer? (as in past tense? Darkblade walks away worriedly muttering to herself, what on earth does he mean?)
I always felt that RJD and I had something in common, but I sure didn't think that it would be this
even though some of his music is not for me,,but i do understand he has been a integral part of the hard rock/metal scene for many a year and wish him all the best in this regard,,i dont wish the big C on anyone,,he and his family will be in my prayers
--
gimpnoid ,,the ledgend grows LOL
ooooh, wow. Sorry to hear that

Keep on Rockin'
Suicidesolver81
No matter what some of our friends think of the man, this is really bad news, the BIG C, is not to be wished on anyone REALLY! Let us hope that they caught it early, and they slice and dice with him as they did with a family member, and he is OK!
--

wow, that's terrible. hope they caught it early enough.
