Felps Church singing OZZY's song on the supreme court steps! | The Official Ozzy Osbourne Site

Felps Church singing OZZY's song on the supreme cour...

For a family that is so concerned for freedom of speech, the Felps family has gone too far! They dishonor their fellow Americans and trample on our rights to bury our military sons and daughters in peace. I wonder how Ozzy feels about the Felps women singing "Crazy Train" adding words and singing it in the media. Isn't that a copyright infringement? As a fan Im outraged at their butchering of Ozzy's song and making it a part of the Media frenzy surrounding the first amendment rights and Gay bashing. Ozzy stand against the outrageous use of your song and sue the Felps family and their family church!

Risposte

Come on Ozzy and Sharon! Sue Fred Phelps and the Westboro Church for infringing on your copyright.

Come on Ozzy and Sharon! You have the funds to sue this Fred Phelps character and his disgusting hateful family for taking your great coptrighted property - Crazy Train - and performing it without permission on television. Please go after them. Especially if the Robert's court goes in Phelp's favor. Anyone who hates homosexuals as much as these people do are being led by someone who is a deeply repressed homosexual himself. Maybe write a song for Freddy to "come out of his closet of hell". Journey needs to go after Christine O'Donnell for using "don't stop believing" at her campaign rallies. Two different music styles but artists own their work and should protect it strongly.

I totally agree! I understand the first amendment rights and all others. However, a family's liberty to grieve has been severly compromised. And using the words from "Crazy Train" seems that it breaches copy right infringement. Does anyone remember when Sarah Palin used "Barracuda" during her campaign? That was stopped right away. Ozzy, is there nothing you can do to stop these people from using words that you put to music?
