This is maybe my favorite album by the madman! Why? Diary Of A Madman! I know you may think I'm crazy; but when I heard that song for the very first time, it gave me goosebumps. And still does when I try to hear it surrounded by total darkness. It makes me believe the madman would appear! Hehe...but it's a cool album as whole. If you don't buy this you're a poser!!!!
This was my first Ozzy record! I remember being in the record shop starring at this cool cover for a long time and I knew there was something special with this CD..I bought it and spend the next hours listening to it over and over again..It was just great! The guitar riffs were like no other I had listen to before and there were so much cool melodies..The singing was kind of unique and crazy and pretty cool..It's just such a great record and it was definitely my way in in this crazy world that sorrounds the Ozzman! I love Ozzy Osbourne songs and I always will thanks to this record, so I owe it all to this Diary Of A Madman!
There's so many OzzY songs that I absolutely love that it would be so hard for me to pick any absolute favorites. But if I were to make a list.... Several off of this album would top the list. Diary probably at the very top... Little Dolls and Believer would be way up there too.

We got some f***ing rock'n'roll to make, baby!!!
I loved this album when I first got it at 13. That was my first Ozzy album with Randy Rhoads I've ever owned. I was really banging my head to "Over the Mountain", but I also liked "Flying High Again", "Believer", "Little Dolls", and my best favorite song from this album was and always will be "Diary of a Madman", because as I look at that cover and look at Ozzy's image from that cover, I imagine if it was a music video based on that cover. in fact, recently, I made some stills on a movie creator based on that cover and Ozzy's image. I just edit the stills, added the song, and you will see some crazy s*** on that mini movie! Anyhow, this is a must-have for any old fan or newcomer of any age!
This is another one of Ozzy''s amazing albums. With Rhoads at lead guitar, no metal fan can stay safe. This is also the last shredding piece of metal that Rhoads did before his ultimate fate. March 19th 1982 the day music died. Ozzy's voice in Flying High Again, Over The Mountain, Diary of a Madman, and Believer are incredible. I love Ozzy, he is the prince of f**king darkness and Rhoads is the prince of f**king guitars. This is an amazing album, though not better than Blizzard of Oz, Black Rain, and No More Tears. Remember: I'm not the anti-christ or the Iron Man. We salute you Randy Rhoads.
I have to give this album 5 out of 5. I cant give it a 3 or a 4. I just cant .Becuase it is Ozzy's best album and it's (Not much!) better than "Blizzard" and No more Tears and it's on my top 5 albums of all time.
A classic album!
I love it with all my heart.
I do!

The best album ever made by Ozzy! Even better than previous masterpiece...

"Mother, please forgive them, because they don't know what they do!" (Ozzy Osbourne - Revelation Mother Earth)
This is not only Ozzy's best album but the best damn album of the 80's! ( for that genre, anyway) It lacks nothing... all the songs are killer both lyrically and musically, there's variety ( combination of Randy's classical and rock guitar along with Ozzy's different vocal styles) Dark-as-hell songs, along with a ballad, a killer fast track ( over the mountain) and my personal fav Ozzy song EVER....Diary of a Freakin' Madman!!!!!! This is nothing but genius, a true masterpiece!
This is a good album. I don´t like the way how Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake get fired after recording of this album. Rudy Sarzo & Tommy Aldridge's pictures were put on the album as having played on it - they didn't. I´m happy because there`s (internet) now mentioned the right musicians of this album. Even Johnny Cook, not Don Airey. The best tracks of this album:
- Over The Mountain
- Flying High Again
- Believer
- Diary Of A Madman
The best follow-up album since Black Sabbath "Paranoid" I have to give 5 stars to every track, but S.A.T.O. is quite possibly my favorite Ozzy tune of all time!! \m/
Believer is a killer song. Randy's riffs shows what a great guitar player he was. Flying high again is also a great piece. The album was not up to the standard of Blizzard of Ozz...
