I was standing in the sound booth! one of the few very special VIPs brought along by Zakk Wylde who had an amazing display besides the few times he tripped. OZZY you are still amazing and you have no idea what an honor it was to be standing 10 feet from the Prince of Darkness as he walked off stage!

I will see you in Portland, Possibly LA and Possibly Madison Square Gardens. LOOKING forward to being VIP again at the next shows.

Zombie I love the music that he displayed. all my favorites and some i hadnt heard before! He is truely amazing...See you again

best show ever He's still got it ozzy you are the man rock on

Ozzy's songs are always going to be classic so it doesn't matter which one's he plays. With that said there were a lot of slower songs blended in (see set lists previously posted). It's obvious that Ozzy'z getting up there as an upbeat song was almost always followed by something a little tamer; it was hard to get into a "flow" as a fan. The most obvious thing about the show that I can't believe previous reviewers failed to mention more was Zack Wild (sp?) falling over numerous times during the show. Whatever was wrong with that guy I don't know but it was simply unacceptable as a professional.

My vantage point was from the side of the stage where he was playing. During his solo, which included a cool version of the Star Spangled Banner (which, strangely, Rob Zombie's guitarist also did a version of), he tried to fall/lean back onto an amplifier that wasn't there and took a stumble. A stagehand came over to steady him and he got back to where he was leaning on the speaker. After the solo, when Ozzy came back out, they started playing the next song and Zack fell flat on his back! This time three stagehands ran over and started talking to him like a boxer that had just been knocked out. He laid there and played almost the entire song on his back. After this he got up and finished the show but he was clearly not right. Many times he walked back to the drummer and faced him as he played as if trying to keep time. During one of the songs he obviously just lost his place and a good couple stanzas were performed with only drum and bass. Zack tried to jump back in like it was all planned but it wasn't. Ozzy was looking back at the stagehands and other members, at times throwing his hands up, as if asking, "what the f*** is wrong with this guy?".

Very, very poor showmanship. Ozzy's obviously getting a little old to do what he's doing but Zack's got no excuse. Some other fans in the front rows said that they saw Zack's eyes rolling back in his head while he was playing and they were convinced that his guitar was being piped in. I don't know about that but if it was anybody but the King of Rock, I would have simply left.

The show started off with a bang , meaning when Ozzy came on, sorry Rob! The first couple of songs were great, then the oz man somewhat lost it, playing some slow songs, and losing the crowd, but prevaled by finishing with a sick set from Black Sabbath the greatest band ever. Hey reclaimed his throan and captured the audience, with his showmanship and the bands non stop energy. overall a great show, if you weren't there, i feel bad for you, truly a experience.

Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy. I can't believe how bad his set was. The song selection was awesome, No War Pigs or Iron Man, contrary to some of the other reviews, just Into the Void from BS days. But the rest is pretty accurate. He sounded aweful, was never on key for a complete song, Zakk's guitar solo was nothing short of embarrasing, he whammy barred for so long, my 7yr old was screaming for him to be done! Mike Borden, while I think he is an amazing drummer, must've had bad monitors or something, because his tempo was always speeding up, slowing down. Really a let down from a 30+ yr fan's perspective. Rob Zombie on the other hand, was amazing. His set was the best i've seen at an arena show in years. Reminds me of classic Alice Cooper, puts on a show to write home about. In the Moment were generic at best, and merely playing on the popularity of crap like Evenescance. Bummer Ozzy, get the words down before the next show!!

I'll admit up front that it has been 20 years since I've seen Ozzy live, and I've never seen Rob Zombie. I thought it was an enjoyable experience overall, but there were some weaknesses. The sound, as others have mentioned, was unforgivably muddy. Going for volume over clarity. I mean, I've seen Deep Purple, so I know loud, and it doesn't have to be that difficult to get a better sound. I do have to concur with another poster who mentioned that Oz seemed to be off-key on many songs. Plus he was singing noticeably slower than the rest of the band, who occasionally had to slow down to allow him to finish a lyric. Still, Oz is an icon of the metal world, and I really respect the guy for getting back out on the road. Only two from the new album - the two you would expect - and a couple of surprises, including "Fire in the Sky". There were some slow moments, but by the time they lit into the encores (an "Iron Man/Sweet Leaf/Children of the Grave sortof medley) it was blistering in there.

Others have mentioned Zakk's spill in the middle of "I Don't Know". Shortly before he took the fall he was ramming into an amp stack on stage left, where he played most of the night. Not sure what that was all about. Then he seemed to be ramming it again, and slipped, and over he went, feet in the air and kilt a-flying. Three of the crew dashed out and surrounded him for a good 2-3 minutes. And the great thing was, he kept right on playing. I hope the guy's not on an IV right now. The communication between Zakk and Ozzy seemed off too. Remember this is the first show of the tour, but there were a couple of times when Oz would intro a song and then look at Zakk, obviously expecting the first riff, and Zakk would be gesturing to the crowd. It was clearly getting on Ozzy's nerves, since he was sort of shrugging and yelling to the bassist when it kept happening. Still, made for an interesting spectacle.

Rob Zombie was very tight and sounded somewhat better that the Ozzy set. Still missed a couple of personal favorites (like "Feels So Numb" and "Crippletown") but if you've seen the setlist on the Zombie live album that comes out next week, it was pretty much the same show. Some White Zombie, some new album material, most of the hits from the other 2 solo albums.

Both bands used essentially the same pyro, a row of flamepots across the back of the stage. Of course Rob had his dancers, the mechanical guy, and lots of odd stuff playing on the half dozen video screens all over the stage. Everything from old horror movies, scenes from the movies he has directed, and hentai anime. Lots of boobs, if that bothers you.

All in all, I say it was a very worthwhile experience. Good seats, my son's first concert experience, and a lot of fun. Thank God I wasn't the only 50 year old there! Quite a mix in the crowd. Lots of black shirts and lots of leather. Not as much pot smoke as I would have expected :) Between sets they were playing lots of AC/DC - it's about time for them to come to the area too.

Wild Irish - who did not buy the first Black Sabbath album the day it was released, but did buy the second one the day IT was released....

I am a little confused about all these raving reviews of last night's show. I know that Ozzy is a rock and roll icon, for that reason alone his show should on the very high level, however last night was not the case. The sound was simply horrible. It was muddy, loud (bad loud, we all now what good loud is) with Ozzy singing off key almost every song that I heard ( I did not stay for the entire show, it was that bad). With today's technology and the omount of money these guys have, there is no excuse to sound that bad. My last concert was Roger Waters, just a few months ago at the same venue, and his sound was CD perfect. I guess I am not as forgiving as most people who went to the show, and gave it a glowing review. I've heard garage bands do better versions of these songs than Ozzy did last night. Zaak is an awsome guitar player, also you could not hear a clear not last night, and it's shame that he was completely lost in the mix (what mix?). You want to see a real good show? Go and see Heaven & Hell with DIO. As far as for Rob Zombie, he was good. The show was much better thought out than Ozzy's and he sounded much better. The opening act with a screaming Madonna like vocalist was simply dreadfull. I hope the show gets better as they continue their tour. My advise is to get the first 4 solos CD's and crank them on your stereo.

P.S. I am very glad I did not have to pay for my ticket, as it was given to me by a friend. $65 for a cheap seat is a lot of money. Ozzy please retire and become a stand up comiic. I thing you'll be food at it.

The show was amazing!
I can't believe how great Ozzy is after all these years.
He is a true legend!
I was front & center for the whole show (I worked my ass off to get those seats & it was well worth it).
I went crazy and got drenched twice from Ozzy himself (he bulls-eyed my ass - I got drenched good)!
I can die now.

Here is the list:
(It was given to me from the stage hands, Thank you guys!)

I Don't Want To Stop
Crazy Train
Mr. Crowley
I'm Not Going Away
Into the Void
Road To Nowhere
Fire In The Sky
Bark At The Moon - Zakk Solo
I Don't Know
Here For You
Change The World

Mama I'm Coming Home

For all you people thinking about attending a later tour date, I highly recommend you finish that thought process with a positive answer. The opening band was called In the Moment (I believe), and they weren't that good, but they got the crowd fired up a bit at least. Rob Zombie put on a great show, however, and Rob really got the crowd going. I won't go into detail about his set, but it was a good performance. Ozzy was fantastic. His intro was absolutely hilarious. BE SURE TO MAKE HIS SET ON TIME!!! There is a short video starring Ozzy prior to his actual performance. I won't spoil the surprise, but don't miss it. The set list was perfect, well thought out and rocked the entire time from the second he started playing until past 11:30. As for those Zak haters who gave reviews before me, they are idiots. He was absolutely amazing. Ozzy and the rest of the band left the stage to let Zak do an 8 minute solo that was seriously impressive. Zak got real into it, lit the crowd up, and put on a fabulous display of skill and talent. As one reviewer (who is also an idiot) mentioned, Zak was noticeably intoxicated during the last minute of his solo, but it did not hinder his performance one bit. If anything, it made his performance all that much more impressive. After the solo was over and Ozzy and the rest of the band came back on stage, Zak could barely stand; he continued to play, however, and eventually did fall over backwards into a foot wide crack between the stage and a platform in front of it. He continued to play with 2/3rds of his body in the crack while some workers prevented his body from falling all the way to the floor. It was highly entertaining and impressive at the same time. Ozzy was noticeably miffed, however. With or without Zak's intoxicating performance, Rob Zombie and Ozzy Osbourne put on a great show. This is a must see.

we missed rob zombie due to bar hopping,
ozzy was great, good show, great songs, saved the best for last.
was very disapointed in zak. he took one hell of a dive and laid there for 3 mins. however he didnt miss a lick. then got up with help and kicked ass for the rest of the night to make up for it but the band wasnt happy with him you could see it.
glad we went and wont forget an awesome night.

First Rob Zombie started us up and was on stage (CRAZY stage!) for about and hour...and then the man of the hour OZZY hit right at 9 and the music did NOT STOP until 11:45!

You named he sang it! Old, new & Black Sabbath ~This was old school concert where the performer loves his fans and the fans love their star! He never stop moving running up and down and telling us to make some noise! Hitting us with his water bombs and flames every where~

Zak was awesome as well! The man can make that guitar sing. He played his heart out for Seattle.

From 9 until 11:45 we were singing with Oz it was the BEST concert I have seen in years and truly was a statement as to the star performer Ozzy is.

There were some "young ones" (teens) that were dragging butt out of that concert ....Ozzy had worn them out. They had been rode hard by the Oz man.

If you are waiting to buy tickets in your town DON'T WAIT ~ GET YOUR TICKETS!

PS I was reading that some think Zak..well was drunk I TOTALLY disagree...he tumbled AFTER that solo......an AWESOME solo that went for like 20 mins of HARD CORE playing....I never thought drunk I thought exhaustion ...overheated but not falling down drunk

tickets are avavlible sept. 15, 2007

Ticketmaster is advertising a MySpace presale starting at noon on Friday. Does anyone know how to get the code for that?

how much tickets going to cost when available?

I saw Ozzy in 2005 at OZZFEST in Auburn, Washington. His performance was pretty good....Despite him throwing his microphone to the ground and walking off the stage. I gotta say, though...Iron Maiden thoroughly destroyed Black Sabbath!! And who does Sharon Osbourne think she is? She is just jealous because Bruce Dickinson and his band conquered her old man's band!!
UP THE IRONS!!!!

Where can you buy tickets (Ticketmaster, TicketsWest, etc.) and any idea how much they will be?

There will be many presales on the 13th..

Where will we be available to purchase them from on the 14th? On this site?
