Ozzy still rules!

This was the third time i saw Ozzy in edmonton, the man never ceases to amaze me, I would love to meet him face to face one day. I have been listening to him since the beginning of black sabbath , man it makes me feel old .........50 next yr. Dam EXCELLENT SHOW OZMAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ozzy Concent on Monday October 22/07:

It was a pretty great concert. I had never seen him before but he was on my list of things to see before I die.
However I can't remember the name of the gutiartist he had playing for him. Something "wild" I think. I can't remember. Anyways, it was ok. Didn't really play the songs I was looking for, but I did get some of them.
ROB ZOMBIE on the other hand was f***ing awesome. I would pay to see him Headline. SO if some one can remember the guitartist's name that would be great!!

I saw Ozzy and Finger 11 a couple years ago in Edmonton, awsome show. Last night you could tell he's getting tired, out of tune,missed lyrics, and confution. The bad sound crew could of been throwing him off. The first band "at this moment " I beleave, totaly sucked, but Zombie was AWSOME!!!!!. Then the ozzman cometh. All in all, Ozzy is god and I will always be a devoted fan. I'll be there at his next show, god willing.

Considering it was a huge thrill seeing Ozzy and Rob Zombie, my first ever concert, and my 18th birthday couple days before, it was the best 18th birthday present I could ever have asked for. The sound that was actually coming out of the amps and the speakers was good but the sound MAN, he should be hanged. He was probably the reason why the show was negativly looked at. You could really tell in Ozzy's face in between songs that he was pissed. However, fans were still loyal to him at this gig. In return Ozzy was so happy he bowed to his fellow bandmates and the audience. Wonder what he was doing back-stage. LOL.

Finally after 20 years of being a ozzy fan I saw his concert last nite. I was on my feet the whole time rockin !! It was the best concert of my life oz man totally rules. I will always and forever remain a devoted fan.

Rob Zombie was good but ozzy was off his game. He was out of tune, he forgot words, and he lacked any appeal. It was a very dissapointing show.

I first saw Ozzy live in Toronto, after Randy Roads had passed away. Brad Gillis was the "fast fill in" guitar player.

The I saw him in Toronto, on the BARK AT THE MOON TOUR...

I enjoyed the show last night, but I didn't like the silliness at the begining, where the video shows Ozzy in various television shows, etc... As a long time fan of BLACK SABBATH, and Ozzy Osbourne, I just find this nonsense a bunch of silliness.

I believe most of the audience enjoyed the clips, I don't know... They are fun to watch, but save them for special clips in a DVD collection or something...

What always bothered me about both times I saw Ozzy in Toronto, was how short the concerts were...

And this was no different...

He always puts on an hour and twenty minute show, and last night was no different...

I checked my watch at the begining of the show...

With the video nonsense, it came to an hour and 25 minutes...

Without the video it would have been an hour and 20 minutes, the same as the shows I saw 25, and 24 years ago...

I saw the Scorpions recently at the SHAW CONFERENCE CENTRE...

2 hour show...

So the short Ozzy Concerts are not because he is getting older, they have always been short...

He should have done another encore with a couple of Black Sabbath songs, or did FLYING HIGH AGAIN, or Over the MOUNTAIN or something... whatever...

But, a couple of more songs would have been great...

instead of an 80 minute show worth of music...

he should have went with a 90 minute format a long time ago...

Groups like the stones are on stage for how long???? longer than an hour and 20 minutes....

The concert itself, I really enjoyed...

I was really impressed with Rob Zombie... first time I saw him, and what a great stage show...

Stage show wise, the opening band shouldn't have a better stage show than the headliner, but, they did...

Ozzy done all of his usual stuff, which he has been doing since the begining of time...lol, CLAP YOUR HANDS, COME ON I CAN'T HEAR YOU...

GET THOSE HANDS UP IN THE AIR...

etc...

I noticed he forgot a few of the lyrics here and there, but hey...

ALL OF THIS IS A PART OF WHY WE LOVE OZZY OSBOURNE...

It was great to see him in concert again...

He doesn't run around the stage as fast as he used to, but the great singing voice is still there...

I really enjoyed the show, but I'm not just going to come on here, and say OZZY RULES, or OZZY, OZZY, AMAZING, because, after seeing him the first time 25 years ago... the second and third time are not as amazing...

That is the same with any group, or artist, for me anyway...

The first time is always the best... because you have never seen the performer live, the magic does wear off a little bit, after the first time...

Then with the Osbourne show, etc, and all of that.... alot of the mystery about OZZY, and the "MAGIC" of that "X" factor is gone...

Like I said, aside from that, I did really enjoy the show, and I am glad that I went... We were not far from the stage... and the sound was great... I'm not sure what the other person on here was smoking... but the sound was good...

Zakk looks like a wild man from the woods, and so does the Bass player...lol

Zakk was wearing steal toe boots, or construction boots...

lol, which I thought was different, and cool...

He's not some skinny guitar player trying to be a pretty boy...

And he is an amazing guitar player... Ozzy has always picked amazing guitar players...

The Concert was sold out, so I bought scalper tickets...

For a great price...

When we went to the box office earlier in the day they said it was sold out...

And low and behold, we heard Ozzy practicing, but couldn't open the door to get in to see the practice...

Again, it was an enjoyable show...

He sang FIRE IN THE SKY, and a few off of Blizzard of OZZ...

FLYING HIGH AGAIN would be great to hear again in concert...

i had the opportunity of meeting OZZY in Toronto, on the BLIZZARD OF OZ tour, which I didn't see in Toronto, because it was sold out... and as a teenager, I couldn't afford scalper tickets, but he came to A and A records, and was signing autographs, and signed my album, BLIZZARD OF OZZ....

AND I SHOOK HIS HAND...

I hope his health stays...

And I hope he is around to entertain us for a long time to come...

He has a wonderful family, and I am always amazed at the media, especially in the past about the devl worship, etc...

Black Sabbath and (OZZY) were just talking about the struggle between good, and evil...

OZZY loves humanity, and his fans, and it shows through...

I was hoping that a show in Calgary would be added, but Ozzy is playing in Saskatoon 2 days after Edmonton. And there's always that 2 days difference between the dates.

According to www.blacklabelsociety.net Zakk Wylde WILL be on tour with Ozzy for the Edmonton concert Oct.22. Hopefully this is true. It would be awesome to see two metal icons at one show. I got my tickets for sect.119 and can't wait, for this will be my first concert that I have ever attended!! Not bad for a first timer eh? You rock Ozzy, and Zakk man I hope your there. Your my biggest influence for my guitar playing and I'm excited to see you both. AWESOME!!!!

i have just heard a rumor that im not to stoked about maybe someone can clear this up for me....so the rumor is as follows ..."
