I have a ticket to this concert but no money to purchase an airline ticket to London from the States. I'm very sad. I've never seen ozzy live before...now i'm just waiting to see him at ozzfest 2007 august 22.
The Wembley Arena gig is my first Ozzy gig and i'm really looking forward to it, i'm travelling 400 miles from Edinburgh by car with my mate and it's going to be an awesome week, so much fun. When i get back i'll post my review of the show, my highlights and thoughts on both sets (BLS & Ozzy).
This show should be amazing, Support from the mighty Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society and then the headling Ozzy. Two Zakk shows in one, it's going to be special.
Can those who are going to the gig please post here, BOTH setlists, the Black Label Society & the Ozzy setlists that would be amazing! Thank You. Rock Hard!
I've seen Ozzy several times, including his NO MORE TOURS TOUR in 1989? LOL!
However, I've never seen Ozzy in the UK.
After moving from the US to the UK, the first thing that struck me is that
Ozzy is WAY MORE POPULAR in AMERICA, than he is here in England!
In England, I hear more news about Sharon than I do about Ozzy!
(which was a real shock to me, as well as a letdown).
Can't wait to see Ozzy before moving back to America in July!
Im interested to see how the fans are at Wembley.
In the US the crowd goes completely WILD for OZZY!
Any comments on this? I'm jerseybrit06@yahoo.co.uk
I've been an Ozzy fan ever since the Sabbath days and I've been lucky enough to see him several times in the U.S.
My wife travels to London for her work quite often and asked if I would like to go on a trip with her. I checked Ozzy's tour schedule and got tickets to the Wembly show. It will be interesting to see the crowd reaction to Ozzy compared to the fans in the U.S. I am also going to try to see him at Ozzfest in Mountain View, California which I see him almost every year.
Seen Ozzy on every U.K Tour he's done since 1980 and most U.K. festival appearances, travelled all over the country to see him over the past 27 years including Sheffield City Hall, Manchester Apollo, Edinburgh Playhouse, Hull City Hall, Birmingham NEC, Milton Keynes Bowl, Castle Donington and Hammersmith Odeon but I have never seen him at Wembley Arena, just over two weeks to go and I can't wait. Wish he'd play more off the new album though, especially Black Rain, Civilise the Universe and Trap Door.

Hi all. I am from Brazil and luckly I will be in London in the concert date. I already got my ticket, but I have a couple of questions, as I never attended to a concert abroad:
- Can I bring a digital camera? Not that I want to take pictures from the concert (they usually suck), but I want to take some pictures outside.
- What time is Ozzy's concert going to begin? Can I enter the arena after the concert has already started? I have a meeting that will probably finish around 19:30 on Oxford st. Will I be able to make it on time?
Its going to be my first time seeing Ozzy and i cant wait. Im going on my own all my mates didnt wanna come. how f***ing stupid are they not to see the Prince Of Darkness in action.

OOOOOOOOOOWwww!! I have been waiting 10 years to see Ozzy!!! One of the best day of my life!!!!
Got scared a bit when Ozzy started to loose his voice on Mr Crowley!!! but he got back on track afterwards. Sadly only 2 tracks of black rain played!!!
I will post the show on my blog in 2 weeks....
I've just got back from the Wembley arena show, with Zakk's Black Label Society supporting Ozzy and I have to say that this is by far the worst Ozzy gig I've EVER been to.
The show start with a great new band, a surprise to all that went to the show. Usually after a song or two these earlier bands are boo'd off the stage -- but each every song got a great round of applause. Two thumbs up from me. These heavy prog rockers had similarities to Dream Theater with a bit of bluesy Led Zep thrown in for good measure. And NO, I don't know these guys from Adam. Just in case you think I'm their manager or something.
Then came Zakk.
Zakk to me is one of those guitarists that have stood the test of time. His re-invention of the guitar and his technicle abilities should be a lesson for all young inspiring guitarists to become. But as soon as the band started all I could hear was a wall of bass with Zakk's guitars drowned by the thunderous bass drum and bass guitar. Shame really as this was the first gig I've seen Zakk play with BLS. I couldn't wait for it to stop. Maybe it was where I was standing but after getting a headache I decided to head to the back of the arena a get myself a beer. Funny thing was that at the back of the arena the sound wasn't much better. I think the lack lustre crowd in the seats above me showed the downward spiral of interest.
After an extremely funny intro from the Ozz the curtain dropped to see the old man standing there. Ozzy is a god and never should he be forgotten -- but with a few more gigs like this under his belt and he'll be a laughing stock of rock and roll... even Mick Jagger looks more agile and vibrant. I love you Ozzy, with all of my heart, but please do something to make a difference. The latest album is his worst so far. Even the likes of No More Tears and Bark at the Moon are musically better than this. But, give him his dues, it is a solid rock album with some catchy riffs. Long gone are the days of the experimental offerings from Randy Rhoads, who was the reason why Ozzy is where he is now. Why don;t they ever play 'over the mountain' or 'SATO' live. Those songs are just great.
The show opened with Bark. But wait... what was happening? Was that the same sound production as we got for BLS? It bloody down right was!! After a few songs my ears were hurting. The bass was overwhelming and Zakk's guitars drowned, once again, by the booming bass. Song after song it became worse. I could hear the bass players notes more than Zakk's awesome riffing. Once again, pissed off with the constant booming, I headed off to the back of the arena. Yep, more beer was needed to get me into the swing of things... and once again it sounded horrid. Who the F**k was doing the sound? They needed shooting!!
Digressing a little here; I went to the Muse concert at the Wembley Arena last year. The sound was perfect and I was standing in the near same spot on the floor.
Knowing full well that the sound wouldn't get much better, I had to see it through... well until Paranoid came on and then I left to get away from the onslaught of Wembley traffic. Midway the show got better. Suicide Solution was awesome and Zakk's guitar solo - stealing Randy's solo spot from the tribute show - was a tad boring. I'd rather see something a bit more landscaped rather than a demolition of runs and scales. Yawn.
The end of the show couldn't come fast enough. I knew that this would be my last show seeing Ozzy - unless something changes radically.
I really thought that Ozzy was all about giving young kids a chance to make it in life. There's plenty of great guitarists that can play better than Zakk. Take, for instance, Chelsea Constable. Have a look at her playing on youtube.com and you can see my reasons why Zakk needs to take a break. He's great -- he truly is, but we need a new sound rather than that chug chug chugging of those heavy riffs.
I have to take my hat off to the keyboard player who - for me stole the show. Mike Borden's drumming was way off and his bridge into the Crazy Train chorus was out of time. His fills and beats are way out of control --- we just want something solid. Don't We?
In the past we've been blessed with many great players who have joined forces with Ozzy. Joe Holmes is greatly missed and wherever he is now he needs to get back to his routes and provide something new. For me the only drummer who could have pulled this show off would be Tommy Aldridge. What about someone like Mike Portnoy filling in for some gigs?
Come on Ozzy give some new kid a chance. We all want to see another young Randy Rhoads wannabe come from 'Nowhere Avenue'. Zakk's be there, done it and should step aside for some youngblood. Let someone else give you something new and fresh. Isn't that what rock music is all about? Re-inventing your own sound.
I've been to many Ozzy concerts over the past few years -- and this is by far the worst concert I've been to.
In a nutshell, I love you to bits Ozzy/Zakk et al -- but guys please do something great again. Everything is becoming stale and mediocrity just won't do.
If any of you out there had the same experience or you think i'm talkingout of my ass -- let me know. I'd like to know if anyone had the same problems with sound as I did.
omg what can i say but incredible i have waited so long to see ozzy live and well tonight it came true . and it was incredible ozzy had a few minor probs with his voice at first but i could relate to where he was coming from as i too am suffering from the darn pollen. but he over came this and well he totaly rocked . also the film footage at the begining of the set was awesome i love he take on borat and pirates 3 . the show tonight will truly stay with me forever and i hope to be able to see you again in concert in the near future .

4.20am just got in from wembley. well done to ozzy for entertaining the crowd at wembley.
thought he had ear plugs in saying he can't here them.
little film to open was good to maybe he taking up acting next.
never saw support act as i not know them.
but ozzy was on top form very varied set
of old and new & sabbath songs.
just recouvering from a the best night i have i will never forget black were great but ozzy was off the hook he was really rocking the crowed were really mentel i thought the best part was when he playes crazy trian we went mentel aswell as squshed and crushed but thats part of the fun well done ozzy and thank u for the best rocking night in ages from john
What can i say, just being in the same room as Zakk Wylde made the whole thing worthwile. Great performances from all bands, even though i couldn't hear Zakk very well - same as what rikardoemmo said - when Black Label were on, from where i was sat all i could really hear was bass, and when Ozzy was on, when it came to guitar solo time, for some reason the keyboards suddenly doubled in volume meaning i couldn't hear Zakk...Also, i ordered a standing ticket from my local booking agent and was given a damn seated one, which didn't put in very good spirits for the show, so i was a bit miffed throughout Headspaces' set, but once i saw Zakks "Wall of doom" unveiled, then my mood suddenly changed!
But anyways, best gig i've ever been to. Look forward to seeing ozz/BLS again, hopefully standing next time!
I worshiped last nite... at the alter of Oz... instead of church, prayers and kid-touching priests; I went to Wembley arena it was heavy metal heaven with rev Ozzy.
What a SWEET show! I seriously wet my self with pleasure... right from beginning to end. Old stuff was EPIC, Sabbath stuff was DOUBLE EPIC... & the new stuff sounded the s*** 2! EPIC EPIC EPIC.
Oz was flipping a double mental all nite as well, he was seriously rocking harder than people literally half his age could ever do. METAL GOD.
I loved it when he was like.... 'if you go really mental, really crazy... we'll play one more' and they did! They did that like 4 times... thats how hard rocking the crowd was. Am PUMPED & feel most excellent I got to witness the Oz in full effect.
To all those that was there... I salute you brothers and sisters. If you wasnt UNLUCKY!
last night as we arrived at wembley park station the heavens opened and it poured down my wife and me were soaked as we got to the arena ,thunder and lightning ,my wife looked up and said oh ozzy must be arriving ,the show started with some movies loved the queen sketch, ozzy took to the stage and the crowd went crazy bark opened what was to be a classic ozzy set ,the bass was a lil loud but when zakk soloed it was a moment of pure joy ,the set closed with paranoid as we shuffled our way home one thing was ringing in my ears having seen ozzy many times and bls too at 58 ozzy still came to kick our arses!!
I have Been Wanting to see Ozzy since 2000 when I heard his dreamer single. From 2000 till now I have bought nearly every black sabbath album and ozzy album. I have 27 in totall. So seeing ozzy finally live was the best thing in the world, words could not really describe how amazing that gig was. I belive everyone in the building was left satisfied but wanting more and more. he played a killer set, all the classics and a few more. was a brilliant night. Opening with bark at the moon was brilliant, and finally finishing on paranoid. Zakk Wylde's solo actully made me cream my pants. Only one thing could have made that gig better than it already was - If Randy Rhodes Was there R.I.P =[
I am so Glad I have tickets for the next UK gig in birmingham =]
If anyone wants to talk about ozzy/The gig...
email me at... barkatthemoon666@hotmail.com...
or just add me on msn with the same adress
cheers

This was my first time seeing Ozzy live and I wasn't disappointed. Ozzy rocked the place down from the second he came on stage til the second he left! I went with my girlfriend who hadn't even heard an Ozzy song before (shocking i know lol) and she said she'd had the time of her life which shows how awesome he was. Absolutely loved everything about the show, especially the football/ozzy chant "oh ehh oh eh oh eh oh eh OZZZ-Y...OZZZ-Y". If anyone left that show disappointed they need their heads sorting out. Pure Rock 'n' Roll from a living legend.
Keep on rockin' Ozzy 'coz NO ONE does it like you!
It was my first Ozzy concert, went with my mate and was his first too and we both said it was the best of our lives so far, I knew Ozzy was a little crazy but at 58 years old he put on a dam fine show and you could tell he really loved being loved and BLS were quality too and Zakk Wylde looks like some mean MOFO (I feel for the people at the front who must have been covered in his gob!) the only thing that would have made this gig better for me was if he'd played Perry Mason but nonetheless I had one dam awesome night
This was my first, and no way my last Ozzy gig ! and with BLS ! This was a show, I will never forget ! I know now that one day ,I can say to my kid's and friends "I WAS THERE !" THANKS 4 A GREAT NIGHT !

Ozzy 2/5
Zakk 3/5
Mike 2/5
Bass dude 2/5
Keyboards 4/5
crowd 5/5
sound 0/5
BLS 2/5
Head**** (whatever they were called) 4/5
If any of you out there had the same experience or you think i'm talkingout of my ass -- let me know. I'd like to know if anyone had the same problems with sound as I did.

what a f***ing roxking night
just recouvering from a the best night i have i will never forget black were great but ozzy was off the hook he was really rocking the crowed were really mentel i thought the best part was when he playes crazy trian we went mentel aswell as squshed and crushed but thats part of the fun well done ozzy and thank u for the best rocking night in ages from john
Fantastic!
WEMBLEY: HEAVY METAL HEAVEN
Totally RAD

That Was The Best Gig I Ever Went To In My Life =]
I have Been Wanting to see Ozzy since 2000 when I heard his dreamer single.

What a f***ing show!!
Fookin Mental
It was my first Ozzy concert, went with my mate and was his first too and we both said it was the best of our lives so far, I knew Ozzy was a little crazy but at 58 years old he put on a dam fine show and you could tell he really loved being loved and BLS were quality too and Zakk Wylde looks like some mean MOFO (I feel for the people at the front who must have been covered in his gob!) the only thing that would have made this gig better for me was if he'd played Perry Mason but nonetheless I had one dam awesome night
The true king of heavy metal
Yesterday was the first time I saw Ozzy live in concert and it was the best I have ever seen! o eeeeeee o eee o ee o eeeeeeeee!!!
