I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...when I was very young my dad put on his old reel to reel system, he was checking what was on them, I heard this sound coming from it, it was fab, I asked my dad who it was, his reply "Oh that's Ozzy, Ozzy Osbourne, they are called Black Sabbath, I knew him a long time back, hes a great guy, he wants to be a big rock star some day, so we all got together and, they played, he sang and I recorded it, and gave pointers along the way", end of conversation. I listened to the music, and the chat between them all, picking out my dads voice and being proud that my dad knew someone who wanted to be famous and I loved it, even though I was young I have never forgotten that conversation and the old reels, although I think my mother got rid of them when dad died back in 2001 aged 59, can't be sure as I haven't heard from her in since May 2002, and she didn't know what was on the reels anyway, and the player got broken. I just wish I could ask Ozzy if he remembers my dad at all, but wouldn't know where to start to be honest. Well at the tender age of blah blah blah I just bought my first Ozzy Album, and its never off, will wear it out at this rate, my fave song is Perry Mason, think its etched on my brain.
