My wife and I both went to Ozzy's Halifax show on Saturday, and he really rocked the house. Would be awesome to see him come to Halifax again.. Ozzfest in Halifax would be awesome too !!!! This was our first concert of any sorts, and definitely not our last. He did all of his classics, I can't say if I had a favourite part, it was all AWESOME !!!!!!

OZZY f***ING RULES !!!

I was able to go to the Saturday show, and it was amazing. The energy was spectacular, Ozzy was demanding insanity as usual, and Halifax delivered.

I went to Saturdays concert and it was phenomenal!! I loved it..sat 4th row centre floor got foamed a couple of times but was sooo worth it! Loved the whole thing..waited a long time for Ozzy to come here..and it was worth the wait!

It was one helluva Rock Show! and well worth the cost of admission.. The Energy Level of the crowd was insane, and the PA was I think the loudest I've ever heard at the Metro Centre.... (I wont say too loud, for risk of sounding too old)

I think ya have to cut Ozzy some slack... he's been doing this for 40 years, and never was nor claimed to be a Celine or anything like that... He's a Rock Singer, with a Niche voice... but still a fantastic entertainer....

I think There were a few issues with timing, wrong lyrics, and Once I think the band was playing one song, Ozzy singing another, and it took some some creative "ear" and improv work to get it on track again.. but its a Rock Show... so there ya go...

So while Musically and Vocally, it fell a little short of other concerts I've seen (Eagles, Bon Jovi, etc) overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and had fun...

As for the opening act? While the headbangers sitting next to me seemed to enjoy it.. Just not my type of music.....

My only real complaint was the 25 min guitar solo.... Impressive, but somewhat tedious...

Im not going again tonight... but would go again if he comes back to Halifax!

This concert was absolutely incredible. I never thought I would get the chance to see him live so it was a surreal experience for sure. Ozzy's vocals were great and Zakk was frigging killer as well. They both definitely know how to entertain. There were many highlights for me but I loved "Mama, I'm Coming Home," especially with the crowd singing along.

Ozzy rocked the placed like I knew he would.My voice is gone from all the screaming.Thank-you Ozzy for coming to Halifax. I know everyone had a great time last night.Loved that we got to see Sharon.I can't wait for Monday night's show I know it will be a blast.I hope I get my voice back so I can go CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

THIS CONCERT WAS AMAZING... IT WAS MY FIRST CONCERT EVER AND I COULDNT BELIEVE THAT IT HAD ONE OF THE BEST GUITAR PLAYERS IF NOT THE BEST IN THE WORLD ON STAGE WITH MY FAVORTIE ARTIST OF ALL TIME.... IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERANCE AND IF I COULD GO TO THE SHOW TOMOROW NIGHT I WOULD BUT I CAN CUZ I HAVE EXAMS.... BUT I HOPE THIS ISNT THE LAST TIME I SEE OZZY AND ZAKK WYLDE IN HALIFAX!!

This is what rock' n ' roll is about . You will never see a better show than this until Monday night when Ozzy does it again for a second time . I was so glad to see Sharon there and come out on stage . Ozzy said he didn't know why it took so long to come here because we rocked . I hope that you come back soon , maybe for Ozzfest this summer on Halifax commons , that sounds like a good plan . I have have waited 27 years for this concert to happen here in Halifax and by far it was worth the wait . Ozzy rules Halifax .

that was a wicked concert, Loud and heavy just like it is supposed to be.
ozzy looked and sounded great. i feel bad for the suckers that got sprayed with the foam, gonna be cold going out in -15c when one is soaked.

Hi Folks! Just got home from the best f*cking concert EVER!!! Ozzy came in good form and rocked like a hurricane (I know, cliche). His voice was cracking often, but it's because he has been rocking so hard for so long, and he didn't let it slow it down him down AT ALL!
Highlights: 1) right off the bat (haha, no pun intended) they did a spoof movie montage with OZZY playing some hilarious parts in scenes from LOST, The Sopranos, The Queen, The Office, Wedding Crashers, and some other shows I didn't recognize, but f*cking hilarious!!
2) introducing Sharon to everybody and bringing her up onto the stage with him during Here 4 U.

I cannot wait for the second show on Monday, we have way better seats. Everyone going to the Monday night show...SCREAM YOUR LUNGS OUT!!!

F**king hell man! Too long have I watched ozzy concerts on dvd and wished that one day I would be amongst the crowd, in the presence of the prince of f**kin darkness...AT LAST that day has come X 2!! Myself and everyone lucky enough to be in the metro center tonight and monday night have a mission to accomplish --You can't go to an ozzy concert and leave without your ears ringing, and your voice still intact. ROCK ON!!

I had a question for the halifax folks.....
Im originally from ontario, and although I've been to concerts in the states and ontario, things are always different everywhere....and I've never been to the metro center....

I wanted to know about cameras! I had emailed the metro center, but they werent very specific.
Cameras are allowed, but no professional cameras, camera equiptment, or cameras with detachable lens.
Im still not certain if i can bring mine, so If anyone is a camera junkie and can tell me wheather or my camera is going to get shunned at the door and I wont have anywhere to put it really if I cant bring it in the concert with me.

I know its photographers that are professioanl and not a camera, but all in all.

I have been a huuge Ozzy fan since I was 13 years old, and I was fortunate enough to get to see him play with Black Sabbath in Florida on one of their final tours together, which was the 2001 ozzfest...
I am really curious as to who will be opening for Ozzy in Halifax, since I found out that Rob Zombie wont be with him for the two Halifax show. Bummer, because I would have loved to see him as well.....Any way the show is only a week away and the ozz man cometh, so until then....
