There's this part in the song where someone says:

'and I saw 17,000 kids which raised their hands like this, which is the sign of the devil, and they said Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy...'

Does anyone where this is from?
Was it recorded in the studio?
or is it some talkshow?
thanks in advance...

Unfortunately, sad things happen in this big bad world that we live in. Why do any of us, do what we do. Ozzy comes from Aston, not far from the football (socer) ground of Aston Villa. We must all have a cross to bare. Aston is a suburb of Birmingham, and they have a distinct accent. The difference between someone from the deep south talking to an Inuet. They both speak English, but probably have to listern hard to understand the other. Pehaps the poor unfortunate souls who have miss heard or misunderstood the lyric have unfortunately done what they have done. Perhaps, they had something else running through their mind before hand.I do not know, but we must all pass on our sympaphys to those who have regretably done such things. May they rest in peace.

Could it be that they were the local misfit, and someone wants to make big money out of a sad event? I do not Know.

The sound bite was taken from the interview of attorney Thomas Anderson, the dialog was ripped from the video documentary called "Don't blame me" which was released way back in September of 1991.

Its an awesome dvd to watch, you get to see the kids when they were still just little tykes!

I personally think its a great dvd, probably one of the best thats ever been released on Osbourne. I think the TV show coming about wasn't solely because of the MTV show cribs, but that this documentary also played a part in it coming about as well. If you don't own it, I strongly suggest buying it, it is a great addition to any Ozzy collection!

Ozzy:"I have no regrets except that I wasn't up to keep Randy (Rhoads) from getting on that plane." (Ozzy Osbourne, Guitar World Issue 37, 2000)

As said by Thomas T. Anderson, Attourney for John McCollum's parents:

"I happened to go to a concert of Ozzy Osbourne. I wanted to see it myself. I saw 17 000 kids there. Not a smile in the whole group. Very somber. And it's not music. I mean, an old guy like me, you'd say we didn't understand, well, I'm telling you it's not music. It's frantic, frantic noise. And I saw 17 000 kids that raised their hands like this, which is the sign of the devil as you know, and they said Ozzy..Ozzy..Ozzy..Ozzy."

thanks!
also
it is part of a song of ozzy's... Bang Bang (You're Dead)... on the prince of darkness boxset...

attorney Thomas Anderson of Indio, California says that (or something like that) during a video interview... he was suing Ozzy back in the eighties... he represented the family of the kid who shot himself while listening to 'Suicide Solution'... it's on one of Ozzy's dvds (Don't Blame Me...? maybe...?) but it's too early for me to look right now...

never was part of a song of Ozzy's, btw...
