06/02/2007 It was greatest evening in my life! OZZY' s still live and proud (maybe like never)!! With fantastic energy and humuor science! You can look out!!! But he'll kick your asses anyway :) P.S. Would you like some water on your head???....so, just wait a little bit... and you'll have it!!! P.S.S. Really, you'll have a good time!!!! ...I promise!!! See ya!
I recently heard that Ozzy is been recognised in a Hall of Fame style ceremony on July 6th in Birmingham. Anyone know what time and whereabouts and if fans are invited. Would there be any chance of a meet n 'greet with Ozzy as I'm desperate to get a piece of rare memorabillia signed. I tried after the Wembley date but no chance. Security wouldn't let us antwhere near.
I could not see the screen from where i was , there was a huge Speaker in the way , I think it had Borrat on it though . As to weather there will be screens at the NIA , i think they will .
alright every body, a few friend and i are travelling from edinburgh for the ozzy gig in brum. just wondering if any one is staying at the comfort inn next to the train station, or if anybody has stayed there b4, whats it like.

I`m going to this gig tonight and 2 people have told me this was cancelled due to crap weather (they say it was on the radio). Can someone confirm this for me?
I'm sure that's bollocks, it better not be cancelled because of bad weather, were setting off soon, I've heard nothing about that, surely it would be officailly announced on here.
I have had a voicemail on my mobile phone late last night from Ticketmaster confirming the timings of the venure opening, first act etc. for Birmingham
Well i gotta say that having taken the bull by the horns and got off my ass to go to the gig at the NIA tonight, i wish now i had saved my entry fee.
The man himself was on form, but oh my god who the hell installed and set up that pa system ? whoever it was should be ceremonially shot, i arrived just as BLS were about to take the stage, i thought then that it was the usual headline act giving the support act a limited amount of pa to play with, as to why BLS sounded so bad, then i thought nope Ozzy would never do that to his mate Zakk, so it was with trepidation that i awaited the Ozzman`s arrival on stage, and sure enough it was the most godawful noise you could wish to hear from a sound system, i think the engineer must have something wrong with his hearing if that was the best he could do, it seemed like there was nothing above 800 htz coming out of it, it must have been the first time he had used that system or maybe it wasnt Ozzy`s regular guy, is the only excuses i can come up with, i have been to many gigs at the NIA (even worked there on a several occaisions)and have to say as these arena venues go, it is one of the best for sound in the UK, but tonight it was a case of a bad setup, poor Mike on drums was playing his heart out for nothing as all you could hear was the thunder of the kick drum, no snare (except once in a while you heard a noise like the pa breaking up), no cymbals, and no toms either, and as for Adam Wakeman well he may as well have not bothered showing up as i only heard his keys twice the whole evening.
Poor Ozzy should keep his wages back and fire the guy for that performance
Sorry to be so negative but when your paying these kind of prices to attend gigs, then you deserve a good sound at least, especially with the systems around today, and before anyone says i dont know what i am talking about, i have worked as a pro sound engineer for the last 10 years, and was stood just in front of the sound position tonight, had i delivered a sound like that then i would expect to get some real s*** for it afterwards
Ozzy still on form his set has not changed much in 20 years.Although on slower numbers he struggles to reach higher notes, but this does not distract from his stage presence.
Main fault of the night was p.a system and quality of sound especially during Black Label Society's set.
However all in all a decent night out and worth entrance fee to see Ozzy back home as who knows if he will be back?
Saw the great Ozzman last night, took my young girl and she wants to go again. The sound was dodgy but I heard Mike's kit ok, crap feedback on Ozzys mike though later on so i'd shoot the soundguy for that. By the way,am I the only one who thought £20 for the tees was a bit ott?

Brilliant gig Ozzy really on form, Come bk soon Ozzy, but make it at the NEC. Are we the only ones that thought the parking was crap.
Welcome home Ozzy
Total Fab at the NIA last night but did anyone else have problems getting t-shirts. Got there around 7:30 ish and there was only s/m tees left. Totally p*****d. Does anyone know where you can get the concert tees from.
Spent £80 to see OZZY. thought it was going to be a magic night.
Instead it was crap! Ozzy can't even sing.his voice was everywhere.Sad it was.
And offensive vidoes at start. Pretty disgusting, pathetic and offensive.
Totally ripped off. He only played an hour and a half but that was enough. The band held it together.
Totally disappointed.
ALL of BLACK SABBATH deserve that 'star'.
Ozzy is the man, good to get you back home! Thats the best 40 quid ive ever spent! Zakk rocked heavy as ever! Just need some new ear drums now! ROCK ON!!
i bought tickets for the upper 8 and i ended up in tha moshpit which was ace but being 15 it was very crowded for me haha but i loved it and i hope you gig again ozzy!!
OZZY OZZY OZZY !!!!!!!!!!! FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN OZZY LIVE AND IT WAS CRAZY!!COULD NOT GET TO THE FRONT SO ENDED UP IN THE MIDDLE NEXT TO SOME OLDIES WHO JUST STOOD THERE "WHY BOTHER COMMING"HE IS THE DOGS BOLL***S.PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK AGAIN SOON.WE LOVE YOU OZZY.WHERE CAN U BUY THE CONCERT DVD IF AVAILABLE.
What the hell are some people complaining about. I got exactly what I expected. It was LOUD, it was distorted, it was like watching a fireworks display, it hurt the eyes. Ozzy's voice was like Ozzy's voice. If he didn't hit all the right notes and sometimes forgot the words, who cares, he's 59 for Gods sake, and lucky to be alive. If you wanted Pavaf****inrotti, go buy a ticket for the opera. After four years of waiting since the last cancellation, I was there, I loved it and that's all there is to it. Get yer heads out yer arse and enjoy.
I thought it was a great gig, and we paid extra for our tickets for lounge passes too. Looked like there were loads of t-shirts available in all sizes when we got into the arena for Black Label Society.
I've posted this in the forum also, but my pics from the concert can be found HERE.
