I found this one tribute band that makes it work... really unique stuff... they're called Hole in the Sky - http://www.myspace.com/acousticsabbath

I hear ya, I have done my fair share of acoustic sabbath songs, a lot of them sound damn good that away if you ask me, thats why I think it would be cool to see someone do a album of them, kind of the same idea as the tribute albums, except acoustic. A symphony orchestra version of the sabbath catalog would be cool to hear as well, or so I think anyway....

Man I love to play Snowblind on my Ovation guitar! Also believe it or not , The Wizard sounds cool on it too!

I agree with ya on all that OJ, there are a few songs that shouldn't be attempted I believe, but with a little creative rearranging I think a majority of Sabbaths material could be turned into some pretty interesting acoustic versions....

Some of them. They would have to be very careful which songs they would play. Just like Nirvana did with their unplugged thing, they didn't play SLTS cause it wouldn't have sounded very good. Also, IMO, most of the songs in the aweful 8 don't fit the requirement and Ozzy seems insistent on ignoring most of their catalog.

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)

Yes I personally do, why not?

Its something I would like to hear, an unplugged sabbath jam, lol!
