The Osbourne legacy as seen by ScApE (Prologue)

Prologue:

I have been a fan of Osbourne for nearly 30 years now, & during that time I’ve never really lost any of the initial admiration I've held for the man. That’s not to say there haven’t been a few twists and turns during this 30 year journey of mine, because there have been. But in my attempt to always be honest and forthright in my views, and my opinions, I have to state what an honest answer is according to me & me alone. If I am not true to myself, or what I embody as true musical integrity, then why make an effort at writing anything at all. For every guy like myself there are thousands of writers out there that are willing to write fluff for any given band or artist, especially if they are presented a worthwhile incentive to do so.

Since I have openly separated myself from the normal pack of music writers, I will tell you my views and opinions of Ozzy Osbourne’s career as we walk through it via my written dedication of him, not only discussing his music career, but celebrating his entire life.

As you well know by now there have been many biographies done on Ozzy Osbourne, in fact it’s the same biography everywhere you go it seems. Every word is taken verbatim, no variations really, no unique touch of their own from the writers, this may be a result of the fact that the writer of the initial bio has been lost due to its many duplications, and appearances on Ozzy fan sites. So out of my own frustration I am attempting to write my own bio on Ozzy Osbourne, & even though this process may be somewhat consuming for me, I am going to attempt to do my own research on Osbourne, and by doing so be more capable of writing something that doesn’t come off as stale, uncreative, and emotionless.

Here is my plan thus far, I will try to introduce each stage of his life for discussion, in other words you will be able to read my work and be able to comment solely on that particular subject and it alone. I will title them as simply and accurately as possible so you can find what period of Osbourne’s career you are most interested in, and read from there. I hope this is a positive source of feed back, and that maybe you will take some amount of enjoyment from it as I have in doing it..

You have been a fan just as long as I have but you know more about him than I do. I wish that Ozzy would make a life history movie showing his beginnings to now authorized by Ozzy I don't know who would play Ozzy when he was young starting out. Who would you pick??? Hey Goat are you still playing music?? Dude I know you may collect guitars?? I just bought a Gibson L-48 or L-50 f hole 1920's or 1930's for $50 I had to rescue it from a pawn shop that didn't even know how to store it. It's like rescuing a piece of art work or rare sculpture you know. It was stored with the strings on for years and it warped the neck to crack the body. I'm going to repair it and refinish it in the spring. May use it for a youtube vid. Goat take care and keep on rockin. From nobody to many someone to few the NoS482

I will enjoy to see the outcome of youre research, hiz lifestory deserves a fanz take on the truth an u know i think u are the rite man.
