We were lucky enough to get tickets so I took my 4 year old daughter (and ear plugs). Her dad was working security and was standing right in front of the stage so he got to see everything close up. We were in the stands but that's probably the safest place for a kid. Everyone round us was rocking hard out. We had a nana and grandad in front of us and he let his hair down (literally) and him and nana got right into it. The crowd had been pretty good all night but when Ozzy came out everyone went NUTS. I've loved Ozzy for years but never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever get to see him, let alone take my child. She even knew some of the songs. She got to see Lordi, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Poison, Whitesnake and Ozzy all in the same weekend. Wish my mum was as cool as me.
Forgot to say how f***ing amazing Zakk Wylde is as well.

You're my religion, you're my reason to live.
You are the heaven in my hell.
We've been together for a long long time,
And i just can't live without you.
No matter what you do, i'm here for you......

I never thought I would get the chance to see OZZY in New Zealand! He blew me away!. Sounded great!

I could imagine by Ozzys standards it was a realativley small crowd, but we who were there made up for that. I haven't been so close to passing out from yelling and jumping ever!

Well Im determined to see him again. The event was great! just a pittty it was on Easter weekend and eerything was closed in Wellington. I hope they have the event again next year, Ill be there.

Happy the little one got to go see the almighty Ozzy Osbourne, I wish the same for mine as well; Ozzfest is not real kid friendly so I am waiting for a club show, or smaller venue to take my kids to in the future. I think it’s also great that your daughter got to see Alice Cooper & Kiss as well, even though Kiss consists now of only half its original members, none the less it was still a great experience for your daughter.

I think its particularly important we get our young ones to these kinds of shows to see artists that are getting older and may stop touring at any time, for example I regret not going to see some of our past music legends, particularly Jonny Cash, & Roy Orbison, and right now one that’s on my list to see before he’s gone is Jerry Lee Lewis, its important for the all of us, let alone our kids to catch these music greats before there no longer here at all…
