I do not even know If you read this or not but i thought i would try, I am a 45 yr. old mother of two boys ,i left a very bad relationship and three weeks later found out i have small cell lung cancer, i no longer can work one of my sons was hit by a car in 1997 and he has some brain damage still he is not working and is tring to get on ssi ,long process, the reason for my letter is i watch you on t.v and i have no family, except my two boys, and i need help so deperatelty, i can no longer work and i am on ssi, but it only pays me 700.00 a month we are not making it and then the doctors tell me if i did not stress so much i would have more of a chance of living longer how can i not stress when i am just one check away from living in the streets with my son, i need help so bad, if you were to know me my whole life i have done nothing but work and help people and now that i need the help i found out the hurtful way that people really do not care as they once said they did,so for the past year i have gone thruogh my cemo and instead of being able to just worry about myself i have had to try to make things work for my two boys also and i just can not do it on 718.00,
that is the right amount, once a month, and watching you and your family on t.v you all seem so down to earth like you might care, please do not misunderstand this is not some thing i have done before, i feel very uncomfotable, but i just do not have it in me any more and if i had family i know it would be easier but i do not and my boys even though they are getting older they still need me, if i could work problem would be taken care of but i will not last long like this.
