There exists nothing what you could call a green thumb. Its all about work and caring for the weggis.
I used to grow my own potatoes, tomatoes. strawberrys (tons of them). Dont have a garden anymore, too sad.
Uff, the weather kills me. Its not too hot but the air is so humid that I can hardly breathe.
