He is actually coming out with an new album sometime in July of this year, and i have no idea what it should be named but no matter what its named its going to kick ass

I spoke with Zakk in March, he was as busy as a donkey with three dicks trying to get working on the new BLS album, writing for Ozzy's new album (due out 2010), planning to get over to the UK and work out some tracks with Ozzy and finishing his own tour, which has all been stopped now due to the discovery of blood clots that had travelled from his knee to his lungs. (Get well soon, brother!!)

When all is said and done though, he did say he was going to be finishing up the Ozzy album but wouldn't say too much about whether BLS would open for Ozzy, Works hard enough as it is, I think. However he did say an Ozzy tour was in the planning stages for 2010!!! OHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEAH!

Of course if Gus G stays on beyond the current tour, which I assume he will if he can fill the slot, Zakk may focus more on developing JD's band instead.

Ozzy is right, his band has taken on a very BLS oriented sound now as Zakk has een writing most of the music and even the lyrics for him these days, which I think is just fine, but it isn't the old dropped E grind of Sabbath that he started with, nor is it the wailing tone he used on his earlier Ozzy albums. I'm sure Zakk's pinch harmonics will be missing from future Ozzy alums though. :(

If you look at the news on this site, and you listen to all the stuff going around about Zakk and his association with Ozzy, you'll notice that work on the new album is talked about. Some tracks have already been laid down for it, including some stuff by Zakk. :-)

thats a plus on the album -- sometime maybe early 2010,,but dont have a clue on the name
