I like the sound Kevin Churko makes, through the 1000 times he makes sure that one note is the exactly perfect and ultimate note that it can be. But realistically, I think it's a bit much.

Scream is more enjoyable then Black Rain by far. But Ozzy lost alot of fans with Black Rain.

Old school is what I hope Gus, Blasko, Clufetos, and Wakeman bring back for us all.

They need a totally different producer.

That said, I hope Blasko doesn't turn Ozzy into something reflecting what he is like Zakk started doing. Ozzy's style is distinctive. I cannot even imagine Ozzy playing death or thrash metal. Ya know?

I would like to hear more blues grounded stuff. Because really? That is where Ozzy shines vocally. And gives you the creepers. To get things along the lines of early Sabbath would be fantastic. That's not to say they should try to BE them, just that if there were an influence, that one would be great. If Clufetos could change up the rhythms like Ward does in Sabbath that would be so cool.

But IDK. Maybe what we need is another Sabbath album. Cuz who can do it like the 4 can?

I want to hear music rough and real too. But that does not belittle Black Rain and Scream in their technical master-piecery (is that a word lol?) Ozzy mentions getting away from the over-produced sound for his next album with the band. I hope they hit us up soon with something new. Why not? His first 4 albums came 1981,1982,1983,1984. I'd like to see that happen and these guys playing with them earn their keep, and prove whether they are just capable of playing the classics - or writing them too. BIG difference!
