Not long after Randy's death, I did a colored-pencil drawing on black in tribute to Randy. I'm not a guitarist, I'm a singer- a showman, like Ozzy or DLR...but I can totally appreciate the talent & the human being that was the great Randy Rhoads. This drawing was done in early 1984 after a long night of partying at the old Treehouse club in Hallandale, Florida. I guess I felt inspired, plus I needed a project that was due that Monday at the Art Institue of Ft. Lauderdale, lol. Always the last minute...the life of a rocker, right? Anyways, it measures 11" X 16" and I got an "A". That was 25 years ago. NO photoshop here!
