Cyber Cavern Collection ................... Perish the thought? yeh right, especicially as we ALL speak/write a variation of the Her Majesty the Queen's English. I only have to go 5 or 10 miles to hear a variation, so to go to another country, the fun and games begin. Couple this to a second language, to translate in uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So I stick to Franglaise (part French but mainly English, also WE English have many German, French, Nordic word in our language) with a smattering of German when I go to Europe. Coupled to the fact Beer though spelt different sounds rougthly the same, so the hand action for large, and the word, Grand(e), usually gets me a big beer. IN '91 I had a few hours at the Munchin October beer Fest. You get a litre stein of about 2 PINT of Larger beer over 5%+ volume. Very nice, and pleasent Suroundings.

Also on an open net work I am told I speak riddles, but the again we arere all tracable, sadley and I could not possibly comment, but you get the jist. So I understand that I may not come over clear. But the stuff I copied last night was quite good, though I say it my self. So In boxes should be checked my dears, should they not.

i'd be interested in hearing those things Andy J, but damn, the situation would be sensitive because of copyrights or whatever. hmmm. it's a shame you couldn't submit them to someone connected to Ozzy & they would post them on the site for all to see, you know?

I can't seem to see you baby ... although my eyes are open wide ... but I know I'll see you once more ... when I see you, I'll see you on the other side

Whow, this sound fantastic. I'm looking forward to it.
But be careful with this stuff. As this is an official website it might not be appropriate to post. Better pm us or send emails.

Just FOUND 2 4hour VHS Cassttes featuring Ozzy and Alice on British TV. SO once I finally put them on DVD who knows who will get a copy. There are Interviews, part concerts, etc. Could be some good back ground material. I am Glad I taped it when I did. Tony gives an Honest view of the life of Sabbath. Drink, Drugs, Constant Touring, Personal problems, led to Ozzy being Sacked

Await the updates as I copy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're saying that you would join if I start posting articles, right?
I will start this topic soon.

To think that i stopped buying Kerrang magazine 10 years ago, when I found it going Limp, and coupled to that If only I knew you guys back then! I gave the best part of 10 years worth to Charity shop. BUT, I kept the ones with OZZY, etc in. However, they are in the loft, and it revolves around time/money/material ever decreasing circles there off.

I do own a HP 4050 flat bed, and only bought it as it WAS the best on the market, plus the fact I told my accountant that I needed it for my office. Funny thing being self employed you know! That is what I have being doing today. Sorting a carry bag of recipts, and now I am half way through inputting them into Excel, and i tought that I would have a break and see what IS happening. Help. I am whittering on, and on, and on. Who siad no change there!

During my toils I have taken Alice of my 5 CD system, and replaced him with Geezer (A different take I think), and now the double Cd Best of rainbow has started. (where is Geofrey, Bungle and co?). AND NOW, I can rememebr what HNH sound like, yes you gueseed it DIO/Rainbow, etal.

So I now sit back and recover before completeing my task.

You would think that they have a Spell Check on this site, would you not!

This whole topic makes me think if we could post magazine articles we owe regulary here. I got tons of old stuff and would like to post one from time to time. Shouldnt be a legal issue if the mag is out of stock, would it? Would you all join me? You dont need a scanner. Just use your digi cam.
.
And
I take a bow to Lemmy.

ok darkblades,, you have some cool choices,,, and your son should find the old death sound if he looks for it,, i am still amazed that everbody including me sometimes catoragises metal into any form ,,,its all metal and we should unite on one front,,ive seen it before and i''ll see it again,,bangers argue what is the best type of metal and all the other poeple who like s*** music enjoy our arguing ,because we are tearing up the metal scene..OMUF----wich ,means ONE METAL UNITED FRONT,, who really cares this metal that metal,,its all fukkin METAL--and i enjoy every type of metal

well, although that is a tempting offer gimpnoid, i am sure that my son will find his way somehow through growth in musical taste despite us all. i am just immensely proud that the wind got beneath his wings - he had me worried two years ago when he looked down his nose and told me that the ONLY music was country.

far be it ever for me to try to direct that love and connection - it's a very personal thing and is tantamount to sacrilege for me to even think of not allowing him the freedom of connecting to whatever gives the depths of his mind and heart a voice. i am just damn proud all 3 of my kids cannot fathom life without music, and now, metal for all 3 :-P.

regarding the screetching (oh yeah, death metal), i was never a fan of ACDC (tho many are but i do admit i do like a song or two). i totally love hard core - i just like a good vocalist to compliment it. i love In Flames, however (sadly) sometimes they are not always able to be deciphered (until about 100 listens or after a search for lyrics). Korn has a song or ten that i get into - however their sound sometimes is repetitive, nothing new. I like Five Finger Death Punch, and Hatebreed too, some of their songs anyways.

Something I think is SOOOOOO cool, is that many metal bands that I really get into are not signed, they just are MySpace bands that I'm friends with.

So many want to be friends in trying to get their numbers up on their site - and I'm honest - "hey you guys are HOT, but you really do need to get a vocalist." It's pretty funny - often they will respond and agree :oP pretty sad, i think if they did they couldn't help but get signed.

yes mighty lemmy,, but i still like death metal---------- oh s*** really its all metal from the mellow to the extreme

I have done what any true Ozzy Fan would have done, and that is bring us to a untied front in knowing more and more about an extrodrinary man and his friends. (When can they get a spell check on this site?) I am just glad that I did what I did, BUT I could not have done it with out two fine ladies, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. A quote may be but it is true.

Well, for me you can forget the death, thrash, C rap, as I do not see the point of it. However, it would be a sad world if we all liked the same. My German friend Corrects me, as Pronounciation is EVERY THING in German. Naturally he and his friends taught me a few nice sayings, which I am tooooooooooo polite to say infront of ladies and children. At least these words at present are not detected on the filter here! Then again A southern belle may well not be able to understand someone from Arkanas, etal.

Every form of music has its place, and they are all bastardized at some point. Blues to Rock, to Heavy metal, etal. My collection goes from Albanoni to ZZ Top/Zepplin, with alsorts in between. Saddly I do not have any Floyd, But have Zepp, Who, Priest, Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake and alsorts, but You know, when things get rough as they usually do, who do we turn to? For me it is Ozzy/Sabbath/Cooper, as they have a lot of deep down memories, of times gone by, and they got me through it! Ozzy is a simple man with simple needs just like the rest of us. If you listern to the words, then you will find most of his material echos that. They may not always be deemed commercial, but to us fans they are STILL technically briliant

It is a toss up on who actually coined the term and genre Heavy metal? Was it Sabbath, Zepplin, or even Purple, as they ALL marinated the genere at roughly the same time. Have I started another debate?

Cradle of what ever, come from Wolverhampton way (just north of Birmingham), the same as Good old Slade, and Judas Priest to name a few!

Also How many famous musicians come from just a little high up England in Stoke on Trent? Robbie Williams, Slash , and the mighty LEMMY. To me in that order. Is this another ants nest that i have stired up?

arh every one should love death metal,,,and if you want to know what there saying listen very closely to the gurgles and throat belching and some of the early death metal bands like sodom and kreator are from germany and you have to know the accent as well--try kreator -- pleasure to kill album,,im still playing it after all these years..if you dont want to ,,tell your son,,but if he likes death metal he should already have it,,hey im liking your sons metal ideas,,,hmmm cradle of filth,,tell him to get on here and i'll converse with him ,,since im an old death metal head,,i'll give him the goss

thanks AndyJ ~ sheesh i also appreciate all the effort you went through to post this :-) that was a different angle on things. sorta like the history of metal??? and why/how it came about...

back in the day, i just remember thinking to myself that really nothing was like Black Sabbath. it was dark, heavy, and i just clicked with them big time. not to say i didn't like zeppelin, the who, yes, pink floyd, and so on...just that Sabbath was bad@ss! i'm glad i got to live during that part of history, ya know? my son now thinks all these dweeber bands are so awesome, or death metal ones who do admittedly have a tight and good sound in all ways except vocals. damn, can't figure out wtf they are saying.

"So let us loose the surmantics, and kindergarten/play school mentality there, and NOT on this site." ha ha ha ha
At least try a little, it's not LOOSE the surmantics ha ha ha, It's lose the SEMANTICS Maybe you should go back to
kindergarten/play school and learn to talk s h i t properly. P.S. feel free to mind your own business. Candy@ss

Right MANY MANY MANY thanks to Lennonsdaughter in true Tuetonic Efficiency and O great tech head. When I tried the link first thing this morning Could I get it to work, well, you guesssed right from earlier postings. So I have tried the link, and hey presto, in full glorious technicolour.

So here is the link that lennonsdaughter has set up, All praise and credit to her:

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1103/metalbashers.jpg

SO follow the link, along with the other links that I have listed, type in Ozzy, Sabbath, etc and sit back and enjoy.

At last we get what appears to be another inbred/whixter (forgive the spelling) allowed on the site.

I am far from freaky as lennonsdaughter will hopefully confirm.

Fortunately I am on sick leave due to my operation, but other than that I work shifts, and I EVEN have a social life.

The lovely Lennonsdaughter has sorted things out, but being not exactly a tech head, I am having trouble sorting my end out so that I can set up a post. So If Lennonsdaughter wishes to put up the post, then so be it. As far as I am concerned, I have tried my best to forward information that a TRUE fan might just want to read, and I am proud to act accordingly. Feed back so far suggests that the links that I have posted and work, ARE a good read.

So let us loose the surmantics, and kindergarten/play school mentality there, and NOT on this site.

I go now and try and set up the link, but failing that there may be two entries listing the same link, but, SO WHAT, it is already PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE.

I have managed to send Lennonsdaughter the PDF, eventually. I thought that I sent it in the morning, but when i checked the box in the afternoon, it was still waiting to go, so I made sure that it went, and hopefully she will produce a link for one and all. You see I AM JUST A DREAMER, to say the least.

Also I went on the papers Forum site, and entered the dispaointment of not being able to view the article online , and niether could my friends on the Ozzy Ozzbourne Web Site. So You see as my late mothere would say, that I am trying

Thanks Andy

use Adobe Writer Professional - you can download a free trial of the software here ( http://www.adobe.com/go/tryacrobat_pro_win_landing ) - one of the options is to Export to: and select JPEG.

Or, if you have Adobe Photoshop (or most image software programs) you can open the PDF and save it as a JPEG. It will ask you what page you want to open as it only has one canvas (equivalent of one page).

thanx for your effort andy j

Safely got to the papers office and back. Got headache now, but hey I made a promise.

The girl at the paper checked it out, and yes everyone is right, it is not listed. So she sent me a PDF of the article. I have followed lennons daughts advive, but Flikr as far as I can see wil not acept PDF, just Jpeg, etc.

So Your advise please, so that I may be able to follow through and get it on the site! If s*** does happen, as it usualy does, I will have to use my HP4050 Scanner to get a Jpeg image. Well, it will be two, as the scanner will only do A4, and the article is bigger. So you might not get Bill playing away!

thanks Andy J - I'd love to read this story too ~ hope you're recovery is quick and thorough, sorry to hear that happened to you. polyps - scary stuff. no hurry, get better first.

I can't seem to see you baby ... although my eyes are open wide ... but I know I'll see you once more ... when I see you, I'll see you on the other side

OK, I've been in the rock and pop part there. There are a lot of news but I still cant find it. Would like to read. Maybe you could copy and paste it to here. Thanks in advance.

A VERY BIG APPOLOGY from me un the UK. Not being a big tech head, I just put in the link, and thought no more. I decided to put the box, on as i recover from a multiple Polyp reomvable op, to discover there was no info at the other end!

I have tried the site to no avail, so tomorrow, I should be safe to drive my car, and I WILL go to the papers HQ and find out in person, for YOU ALL.

However, I suggest that you log onto the sister paper www.birminghammail.net/what-is-on-in-birmingham/rock-and pop. That should get you ALL into alsorts of info.

Ozzy's star in the Birmingham walk of fame. he says the others should e presented. He talks about touring, but it will have to wait as the other are touring as HNH with RJD. Sounds quite friendly.

Says that he WOULD like to rcord another sabbath LP.

Another click highlights Tony's star in the walk of fame, and it goes on, but it is a good read, TRUST ME.

So until I get back to you all

keep on smiling, as I do not do the ozzy line, pardon the pun.
