England and Saint George

By the time this hits the web it will be April 23rd 2010 here in ENGLAND. It is the day we should be celebrating our Nations patron Saint.

Now let me hear three hearty cheers for "England and Saint George"

Ah, that bit about the dragon. The dragon is just a symbol. What happened was at the time saint George was alive, Christians were being executed for their religion, and George wasn't afraid to show he was one and he got burnt. I think…

We celebrate a lot of "saints day" depending on the name of the town. Mexican "oficial patron" is Virgin of Guadalupe, Cheers for Saint George!

I'm from England and i don't really celebrate it. What he did was good though! (i am a Christian †)
