I KNOW THIS IS GOIN' TO SOUND PRETTY STUPID BUT I DON'T REALLY KNOW OF ANY OTHER WAY OTHER THAN TO COME STRAIGHT OUT AND ASK THIS SEE...I'VE WRITTEN SOME TUNES AND MADE SOME DEMOES AND I'D REALLY LIKE TO BE ABLE TO GET SOMEONE FROM OZZY'S TEAM TO HAVE A LISTEN...DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE ONE CAN SEND A DEMO TO,OR AN E-MAIL ADD SO AS TO SEND A LINK?

im going to chime in on this ,,yes your right 82 definatly the music gets me in and makes me want to bang my head,,but there are a few songs well the lyrics get me like metal storm face the slayer by slayer,,the lyrics there set the scene and the mood or call from the grave by bathory,but the music first makes me think WHAT THE ,,i can remember when i was in my teens i had the time to get into the lyrics as well but now with no time to sit and read the lyrics the music drives me,,im not saying the music didnt drive me when i was young as well because it did,,its the collective of it all,
and 82 yeah agreed steel panther is more 80's than the eighties and now saying that this is another perfect segway for this

Oh chill, blades. This is all IMO, and IMHO I like these guys pretty much as they are. And as for the music not being important - if the music isn't good do you still hang on and listen to the lyrics? Without the music we'd be left with nothing more than a beatnick coffee house. Most of us can listen to music all day long without putting the first real thought into the meaning of any lyrics. Especially if we're listening to something like Whitesnake or Def Leppard. Even Judas Priest has very little deep-seeded meanings in their lyrics. It's just there to bang your head to.
i just wish i could here it ,,but im computer stupid,,and yes some 80's hair metal is ok 82,and steel panther are doing it fine these days using the hair sound

ozzien, to me the lyrics DO matter. that's what draws me to Ozzy's music so much, the sounds AND THE LYRICS! so pffft...
i never said i don't enjoy 80's hair metal...it has it's credits, though it was not my more fav time in history. music is in my soul. i simply said it sounds a bit old. that's all. marketability is critical - and as you can see by some "comeback" bands...they don't sell well. they can have fans from "the day" listen, but as for reaching and captivating the masses, they just don't. trying ta be honest ... by doing so i did not imply that this was not a good or tight sound instrumentally by my comment, just that it sounds like it fits a different generation. and the lyrics are repetitive and not captivating, kind of cliche' if you ask me. many bands today put lyrics out that $uck (or can't even be deciphered with their cookie monster sound), so that may not be a criteria for some, but for me? it matters.

Well, some of us like 80s hair metal. It does have a little George Lynch (Lynch Mob, Dokken) type sound. And the lyrics are, quite frankly, not as important as the music itself. Clean up the vocals a bit. Otherwise, Andrew, your sound is better than a lot of bands that have recording contracts. Keep on rocking' Andrew.

sheez, turn the all caps off. really kills me. Anyway, i listened to the track. it opens fine in firefox. i personally thought the lyrics a little weak, too repetitive and simplistic, in honesty. the sound was ok, but a bit like 80's hair metal genre stuff, not modern. just my opinion. and? expecting a response suddenly just because you post, that doesn't sound like a sensitive nice guy, it sounds a bit demanding.
