I read recently that OZZY's new album will be out in July and he will be doing OZzFEST and a fall tour. I think the perfect thing to do for the fall tour would be to bring ALICE COOPER along with him. Just imagine that show, each of them coming out and playing for an hour and half too two hours. Two of the most important people responsible for the creation of HEAVY METAL. And the perfect name for the tour: THE FOUNDING FATHERS. Let me know what you think, maybe if we make enough noise OZZY will make it happen

i say bring Sabbath back for Ozzfest and i would love if Ritchie Blackmore returned to rock/metal with a Rainbow Show. i have always wanted to see Iommi and/or Blackmore but i've never seen either. i have seen Ozzy, Dio & Gillan live but never Iommi or Blackmore.

To be the founding fathers you would need Led Zep, Deep Purple, even the WHO. Alice has sung with Roger Daltry in England some years back. If the tour comes the England, sod it find the money and go for the day!

Yep, you would have to also include Motorhead, Dio, not quite a founding father BUT he was an opening act for Alice, and I think despite Ozzy growing up, Dio might just hold a grudge. Not sure we would have to ask him for a definative answer.

Then we have Hawkwind, now that would be an awsome line up. Lemmy could jam with his olde buddies!

You could have EVEN Status Quo open the show as they did for Live Aid

well yes they are founding fathers if you included other metal mutha's as well, like motorhead ,dio,,and well too many too mention
