Hay My names Sarah. I'm 19 and VERY new to this. I heard my first Ozzy song almost 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I wish I was bought up with Ozzy music. (Such an underprivileged child lol). I'd love to learn new things about my idle. If someone can tell me something I don't know I'd be very greatful :)

His first band was Black Sabbath and if you haven't already get to know that band, back in the 70s Sabbath stayed at a castle and the whole band has the same story about seeing a ghost, Sabbath's first album was recorded in one day, the Paranoid album was origionally going to be called War Pigs but they needed one more song so Iommi wrote the filler/hit Paranoid and the name was changed to that, Ozzy sings on the tracks Solitude and Planet Caravan even though many don't think its him, Vol 4 was intended to be called Snowblind but the record company wouldn't allow it but in the credits the band thanks the "great COKE-Cola company", Jezz Woodroffe was Sabbath 1st official keyboardist and wrote a lot of the Technical Ecstacy album, Ozzy doesn't write the majority of his own lyrics noteably he came up with the first line to the song Black Sabbath the entirity of Am I Going Insane and Who Are You, Ozzy plays Harmonica on the song The Wizard. Ozzy left the band briefly after Technical Ecstacy when his father died replaced by Dave Walker and when Ozzy wanted back in the band when Dave and the Sabs had almost finished Never Say Die but Ozzy wouldn't sing anything written with Dave so the album had to be reworked.

On one of Randy's first gigs Randy, his mother Delores, and Ozzy were sitting ready to go on and Randy's mom mistook Ozzy for a roadie, Goodbye TO Romance was one of the first songs written with Randy Rhoads, Bob Daisley worked on Ozzy's first six albums writting the majority of the lyrics, Ozzy ran into the burning building and pulled out a guy thinking it was Randy, The Ultimate Sin is Ozzy's least favorite album he has done and hasn't played songs from that with much disappointment from fans, Jake E Lee was fired because Ozzy/Sharon thought he was taking too much power with the albums and material, Ozzy rejoiined Sabbath in 1985 for Live Aid benefit concert, in 1992 for his "retirement" show, and in 1997, After Live Aid and his No More Tours tour there were talks with Tony Iommi about rejoining the band but Ozzy ignored the offers not sending replys. Bob Daisley was initially involved with Ozzmosis but was sacked when Geezer Butler(Sabbath bassist) volunteered, Geezer also joined Ozzy in 1988 and appears on the live EP Just Say Ozzy, for the 2001 album Osbourne employed Geoff Nichols (Sabbath keyboardist from 1980-2004) to write on Down To Earth, ghost writters were hired for Down To Earth, in 2001 sessions began for writting a new Sabbath album but broke down due to his solo record contract, since the 1997 reunion Sabbath has done threee new song Psycho Man and Selling My Soul (studio versions at the end of the live album titled Reunion) and Scary Dreams (from the 2001 sessions) played only on Ozzfest 2001, Ozzy has since left Sabbath on the back burner of his activity saying year after year he will do another album but never owns up to his words :(, Ozzy's setlistes have become very narrow with and without Sabbath in the case of Sabbath only playing from Sabbath first three albums.

Like Ozzy? If you haven't check out Sabbath. Then you might like these Sabbath related material: Iommi(Sabbath guitarist solo album, he has three) Bill Ward(Sabbath's origional drummer has two albums working on his thrid) GZR(Geezer's solo band has three albums out)

You might also want to check out these bands: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Ian Gillan band, Pantera, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halford, 2wo, Fight, Glenn Tipton band, KISS, Frehley's Comet, Peter Criss band, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Megadeath, Motorhead, Pink Floyd, Queen, Skid Row, Slayer, System Of A Down, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, White & Rob Zombie, ZZ Top.

Ozzy and Nikkki Six(Motley Crue) were partying after a concert and were trying to out do eachother in crazy s*** and Ozzy snorted some ants, then Nikki took a piss on the table and was gonna lap it up but Ozzy puched Nikki out of the way and did it himslef.

I didn't mention things like the Alamo, bats, doves, ect cause those have been done to death in all the interviews Ozzy ahs done in the past. Another thing maybe to add is that Ozzy, in a druken/high, stuper tried to killl Sharon. One thing I've never done is try to figure out how many rehab clinics Ozzy has visited, lol
