BLACK RAIN ALBUM ROCKS!

Hello all!

I'm a big Ozzy Osbourne fan from the middle east, I just want to say that I love the Black Rain album and I dunno why so many f****** people don't like it...
It's true Black Rain isn't as GREAT as Blizzard of Ozz or The Ozzman Cometh but still it's GOOD and 4 of the songs in it are in my favourite OZZY songs list ;)

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I AM THE MAN OF STEEL, I AM IRON MAN

I love the album....the music is absolutely ROCKIN, but the only thing I dont like is the ant-war and seemingly anti-soldier sentiment....other than that it's great....anyone else out there agree?

I think that people who dont like this album have bulls*** in their ears and / or mind. More seriously, just like for Zappa, Queen or Prince, people wait for something else than what the artists give us. I've been listening Black Rain for days and days and i can say it's some great Ozzy Osbourne music. Dont listen to people who dont like it. They never liked this music and will never be able to hear it. Thank you Ozzy Osbourne for being here.

Black Rain is simply awesome. I've been trying to get my local book & music store to play this particular Ozzy CD over the store-sterio-system; I'm still working on 'em & i'm hopeful. This CD is so awesome, I gave a copy to my dad as a gift (he's a music lover). As I listen to each song, I'm continually amazed by Ozzy's talents (talents in writing songs, his vocals, how the songs should flow, ifuwill). In each song, I hear Ozzy's thoughts (not just him singing, performing), he's writing, & doing so from the heart it seems. There isn't a song on this cd that I don't like. I do really like the song that goes "I'M NOT GOING AWAY. I'M NOT GOING."

Hey yall, Christmas (winter holidays) are coming & "Black Rain" CD makes an awesome gift (hey birthdays, father's days, mother's days). I know my dad is rocking to Ozzy now!!

OZZY! OZZY! OZZY! OZZY!

Take care, stay safe, & keep the faith.

anti-war doesn't mean anti-soldiers

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)

It doesn't mean anti-soldier you're right, but there are some lyrics that allude to the fact that the soldiers are there dying in vain and doing what they are doing in vain....i dont remember the song (s) but to me that's what it sounds like he's trying to say, i apologize if I'm wrong, and that's what I dont like about it. Our guys and girls are doing a HELL of a job out there that none of us would ever do, for someone to come and minimize their effort. I know someone personally who went to Iraq and according to him did fantastic work for them, that the kids loved them....they built schools, they brought clean running water to a region for the first time.....how can you say that what they are doing is not worthwhile? That's what I'm pissed off over. I know everyone has their view, and you can't take that away, but when you know of an experience like that , you get to see that what they do IS worth it.....do i make sense?

I just think that it is more of not supporting government decisions

yes too true, but if i'm not mistaken there are DIRECT allusions to the soldiers themselves...and that's what I have trouble with....making them feel like what they're doing is for a more selfish cause than what it actually is.
