I don't have my own personal site, only an e-mail account for now. Maybe someday I will try and start my own site, I have built websites for fun before, taught myself html, & I am an artist of sorts, so I have managed to build some mean looking sites. Then I just delete them when I grow bored of them, that’s just my weird idea of fun I guess, lol!
I am sorry you may miss Ozzfest that really sucks! Maybe things will turn out for ya still, keep your fingers crossed huh?
As for being an Ozzy fan, young, or old, its all the same, you clearly recognize his genius, & once you do, you can only soak it all up as much as ya can, when ya can.
As for someone being talented, that’s a funny term to me anymore. America has this prefab idea of what makes the perfect singer, or artist, via American Idol. I totally disagree with that ideal, and do so because of artist like Ozzy. Ozzy even despite his not fitting into that so-called mold of what a great vocalist/singer should be, has managed to have huge success, better yet has become a living legend in fact!
To me what makes a great artist is the creativity, the expression of it all, you can sing, play guitar better than anyone else alive or dead, but if you cant write a melody, or a hymn that someone can relate to, connect to, then you have absolutely nothing!
All you out there who think you know real talent can keep your Kelly Clarkson’s; your Clay Aiken’s while I will continue to stick with Neil Young, Ozzy Osbourne, and Les Claypool, who may not have the most beautiful singing voices in the world, but can write, & create music like non that has ever been heard before.
