I have to say that every family is dysfunctional in one form or another. Lord knows mine was, & still is. My mother & father were great, but trust me they had their imperfections to say the least.
To me that is what the Osbourne’s show did for me, as well as a lot of other Americans, hell other parts of the world. In fact my own Mother simply loved the show, why? Because it brought it all home that no matter your money, or your status in life, your still only human. As for thinking of Ozzy as a friend, of course I do, its only natural that we open ourselves up to that kind of thinking, no matter the fact that you may not have an actual personal relationship with him. I think that’s what’s so hard for celebrities, that fans approach them in that manner; I am almost 100% certain that Ozzy has been scared to s*** & back by more than a few fans because of their forwardness.
As for me when I have been lucky enough to met a celebrity I have always tried to keep in mind that they are just like myself, and that is that they may not be in a good mood, or not feel well, & may not be up to talking, or signing my crap right at that particular moment & time. So when I do approach them I do so slowly, & respectfully, and in my using that kind of judgment it has made for me some very interesting encounters.
Ozzy I don’t know personally, but on a spiritual level we have connected many, many times, & in doing so I am proud to call him a true friend!
