Ozzy still has it!

The Ozzy / Zombie show was great as I figured it would be. Ozzy, while not in peak voice, still kicked ass. This show and especially last summer's Ozzfest show were much better than some of his shows I have seen in the last 10 years. I do wish the set list was longer. He dropped "Not Going Away" and put "Here For You" back in the set instead. Ozzy looked to be having a great time even though he told the crowd he was suffering from the flu. Zakk, Blasko, and Bordin were great as usual. I was close enough to get "foamed" and it's not as bad as some on this board are saying. It disappears and does not stain. Zombie put on a great show that was very theatrical. He went through the crowd about halfway through his set. He went out through the whole floor while John 5 did his solo. Rob's set is very fun with his band's costume changes, videos, and dancing girls. I missed opener, In this Moment because the show started early so get there by 7pm if you want to see them. My only complaint is with my fan club seats. While they were in the 5th row on the left side of the stage, my view was blocked by amplifiers that are put on each side of the stage. they really should have been sold as obstructed view seats because I could not see Mike Bordin or Zombie's drummer. My feiend and I had to "aquire" different seats in the second row a little further away from the stage to see a little better. Another plus was that John 5 hung out about 10 feet away from us between sets. He was very friendly with everyone that approached him. After the show we saw the tour buses leaving. Zakk was standing in the front of his bus and waving at everyone. The buses had to stop at a red light so he opened the window and shook hands with people. Very cool.
