set-list

Am I the only one who wants a little change in the set-list? I would like to see songs like diary of a madman, the ultimate sin and revelation (mother earth) to mention just a few! Anyone agree?

Replies

War Pig. I would LOVE to see a lot of change in the setlist. I think we know it better than Ozzy does aye? Come on Ozzy with all those platium CD's and Sabbath you can do it. ..... Diary........ Ultimate Sin...
I Just Want You...... aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh See you on the Other Side...... on and on...... come on Ozz.................... ;) rose

it would be so bad ass if he went on a world tour and played all these songs, and recorded a really good live dvd!!! not a big fan of the budokan dvd...

I will be attending the St. Louis show on the 6th of August Rose, I hope the weather is nice, no heat stroke please lol!

An I agree with ya War Pig that a new live dvd would be pretty sweet, I myself was kind of disappointed with live in budokan, the only thing I really got off on was Zakks Guitar solo, it ripped ass I must say!

Peace

That was a really funny show..... The crowd just didn't seem to be as into Ozz as we are. Did you notice how polite the crowd was in Buckam? I like the DVD but I kind feel like they could have got a little wilder over there.... You could sit down in that pit..... :-)

Well we all know how proper the Asian's are, I am surprised they don’t all bow & bang a gong at the end of every song lol.... Nothing like Asian etiquette I say!

I agree about a set-list change...except the Ultimate Sin songs, I could live without that.

you lookin at me lookin at you is a great song, even though it's a b side. I'd like to see some more randy rhoads songs mainly, and some more black sabbath songs to.

Guitar Players Rule

Ozzy doesn't do ANY 'Ultimate Sin" tunes live any more. Not even "Shot in the Dark"

He doesn't ever do the song "Diary of a Madman" either, because he doesn't really like it (it was written by Bob Daisley)

Amen to that brother, amen to that!

ya some more randy tunes would be great, like little dolls and Sato, YOu lookin at me looking at you would be great too i love that song.

I'd like it but it ain't gonna happen. Ozzy is little more than a nostalgia act these days. And don't give me that bull about it being "painful". Try crying another tune.

what's a set list???

Not really Sincere,
Twiggy

Did you come to stare or wash away the blood?

Yeah Ozzy could change the setlist around and it would be better for all of us that have seen the same one for years LOL.... BUT they rocked the house and that is all that mattered..... I think a lot of it is the octave lower and the teleprompter. He still starts out with I don't know isn't he???????

Ending with Paranoid?????? Hello???????????

Goodbye To Romance

I hear ya loud & clear on a set list change, it's over due for sure.

To say that Ozzy has not gotten a little monotonous in his choice of songs to play live is an understatement to say the least. In fact I have to say that is only one of my few complainants with Ozzy & seeing him live. I love almost all of those old songs, but if I have to sit through another goodbye to romance, or momma I’m coming home church like vigil I am going to openly weep out loud.

I love Ozzy, believe me, but brother does he need to switch things up a little more from year to year. I myself would love to hear songs like revelation mother earth, diary, believer, hell even some old Sabbath s*** instead of banging out the same songs year after year.

I will be going to Ozzfest this year; it will be my first Ozzfest show in probably 4 years or more. I stopped going mostly due to Ozzy running the same songs into the ground show after show, along with the supporting bands not really interesting me. Its not that these bands lacked being hardcore enough, it’s just that the ones that made the bill were kind of lame in my opinion. Not all of them mind you, but a large majority of the new bands just simply suck ass.

Anyway I say yes to operation new song list, & hope that I may see an Ozzy this year that I haven’t in years past, but to be honest folks I’m not holding my breath or anything on all that lol….

Peace
