Avenged Sevenfold

Their self-titled album came out yesterday... it's actually not bad.. I liked their last album "City of Evil". This album has some STRONG spots... songs like "ALMOST EASY" (the single), "SCREAM", among others.... I'd recomend this... it's nice to finally hear some good music with some shredding..

i dont like avenged sevenfags,

okay, first of all, staind can f*** off... and i would NEVER compare them to avenged sevenfold... BUT i do understand what you're saying about that thing... AVENGED SEVENFOLD's new album has no screaming in it and it f***ing shreds... don't judge by previous material.

ALL MY LIFE I'VE BEEN OVER THE TOP
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING ALL I KNOW IS
I DON'T WANNA STOP

I AGREE THAT BOTH BANDS SUCK ASS BUT STAIND IS THE WORST OF THE 2. THEY CAN BURN IN A FIERY LAKE OF MOLTEN s***! ON THE OTHER HAND MAYBE WHAT WE ALL NEED IS SOME GOOD OL' SEPULTURA TO CALM OUR URGES TO STRANGLE OUR FELLOW DOUCHBAGS. CRUNCHY IS THE WAY TO GO! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. STAIND IS ALSO A WORD THAT SHOULD BE BANNED FROM ALL OZZY'S WEBSITE FORUMS. ITS AN INSULT TO HIS MAJESTY TO DISCUSS SUCH CRAP. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELF............ ; ) XOXOXO

Well obviously I don't like "YUCK" staind, via the comparison, lmfao!

All I was saying is that I blame them a bunch for the shape new metal has taken, instead of being inspired by guys like Max, or Tom of Slayer, we have a bunch of pussy ass poser s*** going on, I swear I am back in the 80's again!

s***! Piss! Damn!

I hated the f***in 80's!

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)

I went an checked them out bro, the band/music was pretty sweet, the vocals were a bit to 80's out for me personally, but I would have to hear more in order to really give a fair review. I intend to do so, some bands you need to dive into more before it clicks, Primus was one for me that took a few whirls before I got it, lmao!

I think they have the same problem as most new metal bands do, I call it the Staind disease, or the Staind formula, in other words lets all sing real melodically, then scream a bit, then lets sing melodically once again, to only scream a wee bit more. Ive heard it, Ive done it, these days it only manages to makes me really, really f***in bored!

Just my thoughts, to each his own though!
