My son was robbed at the Chicago concert

I attended the concert at the Allstate Arena with my 16 year old son, who is a loyal fan of Rob Zombie. When he went down to the concession stand to purchase a Rob Zombie shirt is where he was robbed. My son had picked out a 35 dollar shirt only to have the saleswoman inform him that the price was in fact 5 dollars more since the stock was "getting too low". What kind of malarky is that. Upon his return he informed me of what happened, so of course I went down to ask why my son was over charged only to have my claims fall on deaf ears. What kind of scam is that.

So we now have another spammer trying it ON!

More serriously, this is very bad news, and against trading standards at a guess! So Illegal

What I don't understand is why your son paid the extra $5 if he knew the actual cost, then after would he inform you. I'm just assuming this...maybe you gave your son the money, and him being 16, he didn't care how much it costs since it wasn't his money, just as long as he got the shirt. Yea it is wrong on the company's part. If something like that happened to me, I wouldn't even pay for the shirt in the first place. Honestly, I wouldn't care, but I wouldn't let it happen frequently. In fact, it rarely does happen to me. So what if I lose $20 a year? Not that big a deal for me.

I work hard for my money, and I dont mind loaning, and I dont mind giving it away if it helps a fellow friend out, but when someone is dishonest, basically stealing it from me, then I f***ing hate you. There is nothing I hate more than a thief, and if I had my way I would smoke your ass if I caught you thieving my s***, I have no sympathy, nor respect for liars an theives, f*** em!

f*** em all up their stupid asses!

Hahahahahahahaaaa.....

Right f****n on! :)

The world is corrupt; big business is corrupt ... there are reasons why I don't go to Starbucks (the free trade of coffee), and why I purchase all of my media at indie record shops and bookstores.

All of this garbage within big business ... it all adds up to giant negative ripple effects within society. Why are so many people homeless? Why is the US healthcare system so effin screwed up (Europe and Canada get it free, while we charge outrageous prices for unnecessary surgeries and throw you out on your ass if you can't pay for necessary procedures)? Why do our leaders care so little for special education (I grew up in special ed, so this is an issue extremely close to my heart)? Why are our so-called political leaders touting short-term solutions to the environment which in reality will cause much greater harm in the long-term? Why are blacks and latinos the most opressed groups in America, while the richest people recieve the best treatment?

Because some boneheaded moron decided to hike souvenir prices "during" a concert!

Take Political Science, y'all.

Finally someone who gets the big picture here!

Nice to know I am not alone in this analogy!

This was no joke. And would it be MY fault if I just gave him 40 dollars. Yes he was in fact robbed since the sign said 35.

ya get over it and if you are still pissed off then never bring him to another concert again because we do not want to hear about it. plus i'm 16 to and when to the concert with my sister i'm i didn't get "robbed". and if that happened to me i would have payed the 5 extra f***ing buck and got the shirt and have been happy that i got to go in the first please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell him to get over it it was only 5 dollars!!! not that much...

There have been times when I've brought the exact amount to a show for a tee shirt and/or hoodie ... moraly and ethically, this isue with your son is not right, and I would call Fanfire to speak to a high rep and complain as much and as angrily as you can. When garbage like this happens, it only emphasizes the issue of "what's the limit?" How far will people go to make a buck?

There have been times where I get the last size small or one of the last remaining handful, and have "never" gotten robbed. I've also met some disgruntled and downright rude vendors, which it sounds what this merchandiser was.

Society has gone downhill so much, and we don't need anybody or anything adding to the mess.

For all those fans who for whatever reason think these guys are jerks for not wanting to spend more than the advertised price, in the words of Tim McGraw, "I don't know why you gotta be angry all the time."

Heck yes, he was robbed. That extra five would have gone right into the clerk's pocket, and if you think it's tax, I have a bridge to sell you. No artist wants to see a fan get ripped off like that.

I actually sympathize with you & your Son on this matter, when in business, whether your selling t-shirts, cars, what the f*** ever, when you post a price up, or put it on the product itself, well that should be the price that is honored, to do otherwise is completely unsavory to say the very least.

As for the jack off inbreeds that say other wise, what in the f*** is wrong with you people? Noted the kid wasn’t Shalayleed over the head, or robbed at gunpoint, but what the f*** is your major malfunction in justifying this unscrupulous way of selling a product. If I understand you all correctly none of you have a problem with getting took, none of you value your own money, what are you beyond retarded here, I know retarded people that exercise more common sense than the any of you, your pathetic & in turn deserve to have your cash unjustly taken away from you, in other words, what comes around, goes around!

I would follow fireball’s advise and contact Fanfire, just make sure you bust a aneurism on their ass! lol!

Good Luck!

all we're saying (Anonymous, Anonymous, Anonymous, and me) is yes it's wrong but that was only 5 more bucks. and yes i do value my money. that has happened to my before and it pissed me off big time but it wasn't a big enougth deal to make me go to a web site and b**** about it. if it was 10-15-20+ bucks then yes b**** as much as you can i would do some b****ing with you. but till then i won't because it was only 5 bucks. that is like 5 double cheese buragers from mc............. not that important to most.

So let me get this straight, you don't mind getting porked when it comes to your hard earned money, as long as its five bucks or under?

To be fair with you I kind of see your point an all, but to me part of the reason this kind of s*** goes on is because people have become way to passive, in other words they turn a blind eye to it all, and drive or walk away getting the short end of the stick. As you I also have done the same thing, such as with your example with McDonald's, ya I have been shorted a burger or two in my time, deciding that to turn around and go back was more of a hassle than just taking the loss of a couple of cheese burgers. But it is something that I don't like, and if it becomes a chronic issue with a particular franchise, then I eventually end up going completely postal on their ass.

As for this guy's son getting taken at the show with the vendors tagging on an extra five bucks, sorry that was indeed a load of bulls***, and they need the horn blown on them. And even though it was only a few extra bucks that had been tagged on, fact is that when you add that all up at the end of the day, well you can bet your ass it adds up to a whole lot more than just a few extra bucks. Why do you think it is that big business gets so upset with an actual few pennies, despite the fact that its only pennies they may be counting, when its multiplied by a hundred fold, well its no longer a few cents here & there, it hundreds, even thousands of dollars a company may save, or potentially lose. So do I think that it’s the right thing to do with this guy blowing the horn on em? You bet your sweet ass I do, because who’s to say these vendors are not just simply pocketing the extra money, via short changing Ozzy and Sharon? I suppose your ok with maybe even Ozzy not getting his due, oh he’s rich, no big deal. Whatever wrong is f***in wrong, don’t matter what excuses you make in the end of the day, robbing someone is just delinquent behavior!

Note to myself; never go into business with the likes of you guys! lol

Peace
