Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
I just got home from the second Halifax show. I held my camera in my hand with my ticket while the security gave me the pat-down. I got some good personal pics with a sh*tty digital but they are priceless to me. I can burn a cd with my BLS pics from the Opera House in T.O., H&H in Quebec City, and finally Ozzy in Halifax. I'm can retire now.
As you now know... many camera's in halifax.
What a show... I have all of Mama I"m coming home on video... i"ll toss it on youtube tonight.
No cameras or recording devices of any kind.
they dont say anything on the tickets like they usually do.....but when ya get to the venue, there are signs everywhere....however, ive seen them at many shows and people still get cameras in.....so you will either get one in or not......
It is up to the venue. I just saw the show in DC on Saturday and digital cameras that were not professional cameras (no interchangable lenses) were allowed. Took in my cannon and got some nice pics.
I called the Metro Centre and you ARE allowed to bring your camera, as long as it's not "professional" (meaning has a removable lens, etc.). I said, so I can bring my digital camera and I don't have to hide it? and she said yes.
I just called the metro center as well and they told me the same thing , digital cameras allowed .
Camera's are permitted and almost everyone had one one the 26th.
I was in the front row with a security guard in my face all night and he never said a word.
The camera cannot have a removable lens. In other words, no professional cameras.
