What you talking about is faith, not actually being able to prove that God, or Jesus exists. I believe because of faith, there is no proof that demonstrates God as a plausible theory; no more than atheists can provide us with the missing link. We as Christians can’t show a physical indication of there being an actual God, or that Jesus was the Son of God. In the end we Christians believe this because we stock faith in it, just as when we go to flip a lite switch on the wall it will illuminate us. Being self-righteous is no higher of a road that is traveled by the fanatic atheist; in the end we all may be wrong. After all it could end up being Ongo, Bongo, the lord of the f***in Congo that’s actually in charge.

An also keep in mind the best way to win someone over enough to share your beliefs with is by befriending them, not browbeating them with your personal beliefs. Open the door by having patience and understand, and leave the sermons up to those who are more qualified, and educated enough to do so.
