Old rockers come and go, but not oldman double O
roses... LZ was before Black Sabbath and they actually did copy some of Zeppelins music.
so that doesnt make page better than iommi or The MAN ZAKK WYLDE! everybody steals or copies someones style and then molds their own.

Yes Rose I believe Randy would have left for a while, as for permanently I don’t think so, like Zakk, Randy & Ozzy had an almost Father Son relationship, brothers, you get my point I am sure. So I think Randy would have done as Zakk has done in the past. Randy would have been there for Ozzy, if & when Ozzy would have decided to have called upon him, just as Zakk has always remained loyal to the master of madness!
Peace

Lets not forget that The Sabbath jammed with Zeppelin back in the day. I don't think you can cal that coping, they certainly influenced one another though.

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)
Goat. Joe Holmes got kicked to the curb and he will not play for Ozz now. As for Jimmy Page and Tony OK well Tony plays exellent guitar. Page plays everything that Tony does a thousand times better and he is way more versitile. As for Randy. I believe had he lived, he would be with Ozzy today. Zakk can play a guitar and he does it well. He however doesn't play any better than a lot of guitirists. He is just a guitar player. He has no special riffs and he is by far not even in the top 20 IMO. Sorry that is the way I see it an always will. And again. Ozzy does NOT need Zakk. Zakk does not need Ozzy. Remember we are talking about the heavy metal legend here. Ozzy could get anyone on that stage. Maybe just maybe even Page. That may not happen though. :)

Goodbye to Romance ----- Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on. ;-)
I still can't believe how Joe was treated by the Osbourne camp, almost as bad as they've treated Bill. Joe is an amazing guitarist just look at the credits for the best songs on DTE.

Yes personally I think so Doom, I think he would have left Ozzy shortly after the Diary tour to pursue his doing neo-classical metal guitar. I think it would have been Randy that would have been the first to introduce my generation to that idea instead of guys like Yngwie Malmsteen, or Tony MacAlpine. Not that neo-classical guitar is anything new, good ole Ritchie Blackmore had his go at it long before Randy, or Malmsteen did.
Regardless I think Rhoads would have set the pace for that jondra of new metal, it would have been great to have seen Randy soar to such heights, but it wasn’t meant to be I guess, heaven had bigger plans for him…..

Well all you guys have a good guitar player. Outlaw. Come on what is the matter with you. Tony is wonderful! Doesn't hold a candle to JPP.. No-One but maybe Hendrix does. LZ was before Black Sabbath and they actually did copy some of Zeppelins music. OK going away now. You guys can have a debate over this....:-)
Love to all Rose.................
