Favorite Sabbath albums vote game....

Ok, I am going with Outlaw & OzzyJohns suggestion that we should have a best album voting game going on here as well, so here it is folks, and yes its the entire library, vote for the post Sabbath as well as the Osbourne years if you would please, and if you don't know the later albums material then vote for what you do know. All I ask is vote sincerely, and feel free to express your reasons as to why you casted your vote as you did, I feel it makes for good conversation, or so I think anyway....

The rules are the same as all the previous games we have participated in and the rules are posted below. So without any further adieu, here it is my people, let’s get to rockin it on up here shall we!

RULES

Each time you post you subtract 2 points from one album and add 1 point to another. Each album starts out with 10 points, when an album reaches 0 it is eliminated. You can add/subtract points at a maximum of once per day. When you add/subtract a point please copy the album list and points into your post and make the necessary additions and subtractions to those points.

Ya buddy I agree it’s hard to beat masters. I have a hard time picking one over the other mostly because paranoid is the album I was first exposed to, & what made me fall in love with Sabbath in the first place, great memories of hearing Warpigs, and Ironman for the first time. But as for what album I would throw in my cd player first, well it would be masters over paranoid I have to admit, it’s a stomp ass album and one that’s sure to satisfy your appetite for all that is metal!

Not I my people, to not like or have a love for Paranoid is like not liking heavy music at all, according to my ears anyway. Not liking, or respecting the album Paranoid is practically unheard of really. I just can’t imagine any real hardcore music fan not simply loving this album, it’s a pinnacle album man, you can’t get anymore heavy metal than this!

I mean how do you not show your respect, granite its not Black Sabbaths first album, but none the less it’s a huge part of the blue print on how heavy music should be made. Why do you think we still gather and celebrate the man known as Ozzy Osbourne, because he and the guys of Sabbath became the band, the sound that all artists that came after that attempted to do heavy music compared their own s*** up to, other than Sabbath who else would be the number one group that gets this much admiration, and respect, maybe the Beatles? No they aren’t even metal, so who else do you see being the forefathers of what we all consider metal??

Black Sabbath that’s who! And to not give props for songs such as war pigs, hand of doom, electric funeral, and finally the most popular two hard rock songs maybe in the entire history of hard ass rock n roll, PARANOID & IRON MAN!

Anyway I have said enough, to say anymore just make me sound like a raving lunatic, but damn, of all albums of Sabbaths to under play, paranoid isn’t the one to be criticizing, or s***ting on, so I think anyway!

Ray left because he was frustrated in the rotating bassists and drummers during the time. The album was ready to be released but when Ray left Iommi found Martin who redid all the vocals on the album in a few short days.
