Gotta disagree Scape, dressing metal means that the band names on the shirts are actually good bands LMAO!!!!!!!

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)

What are you going to do about it then? Sit there and complain or do something about it? What are you going to do about it? Kill them off like Hitler? Or maybe try and educate those willing to be educated? Power is powerless unless you use it.

Personally I say walk your own walk, f*** what people say, or do, and f*** any preconceived judgments they may have of you. That’s the problem today, people care far to much what others may think, or what society thinks, and I have no patience for the so called politically correct. Live your life as you see fit, and don't allow yourself to play the game, to do so only lowers your own self standard, and for the record all of us should learn to have patience as well as tolerance for each others beliefs, or life styles, because being different is not necessarily a bad thing!

My advise bro is just live, because none of us are guaranteed tomorrow if you know what I mean???

I hear ya bro, its hard to be the clown all of the time, wear that happy face that society just expects us to throw on like a drop of a dime. but what most people don't understand is that most clowns and comedians are dying on the inside, and even on a good day for most of them, well they still contemplate jumping out in front of a truck or two!!!! lol

Anyway like I said, just take one day at a time, and deal with things the best ya can, because whatever seems god awful, or unbearable may not be the same for you the following day!

Just rock it heavy, and keep your metal mean, and everything else will work its self out in the end, if you know what I mean?

Damn I'm a poet and didn't even know it! lmfao!

yea people suck and im stuck in the worst state to be different in texas but im not letting these prick ass hicks change who i am on the inside cuz from childhood rock was right to me its the only thing that made me feel good and it helped me express my true side i quit cheering ansd started to hang with people who was stoners and rockers sum of my best boy friends that i still love were stoners the dude i like now is a storner guitarist and im just gonna keep doin what feels right

ahh...but yet now you are the very evil you condemn. You are upset about people judging you and now in turn are judging them. You can rise above. "People think I'm insane because I am frowning all the time...I tell you to enjoy life..." take it from Geezer.

im judged the same but i dont go ranting about it i just LMAO that people fear me because i listen to ozzy i wear a trench coat everywhere i go i am dark and always will be

Well for me I have come to watch the whole hardcore music scene turn into some sort of new marketing scheme aimed of course at kids. when I was young and you wanted to dress quote, unquote "Metal", you had to go to S&M shops, or head shops, or make a stop at your local alchemist's shop for all your satanic jewelry needs. Now days you can take a trip to any mall and just hit a local spencers, of course the quality is for complete s***, but hey you can dress metal by damn it! lol

I grew up in a small rural area, and having a shaved head, dressed in black, and wearing combat boots and a leather trench was not at all the norm, I was either labeled a skin head, or just a plain ole fashioned freak. Anyway I walked my own walk, and I never cared what anyone really thought, I just played my music, did my thing, and lived my life the best I knew how. So now with my having grown older, and because of work, and what society deems appropriate for the work place, my demeanor is somewhat of a clean cut nature. But f*** em they cant rearrange whats on the inside, & on the inside I am just as metal as I ever was, just as black, just as hardcore, and utterly & completely insane! In fact maybe more so now than ever before in my life, I am at rest with who & what I am.

So as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover, what appears to be meek, and tame, is often just the opposite, because this middle aged metal head still has his teeth, and is more than capable of handing out a evil ass bite or two! lol

And as some have already stated on here, just mind to your own self, your own self convictions, and don't get caught up in what other people may think, and positively without a second thought don't ever allow yourself to lower yourself to their standards by playing the whole judging game, spend your time more wisely and pave your own f*#kin way in this life!

lately dressing "metal" has been closely associated with dressing "emo". metal has been closely tied with i guess you would call it punk music. its stupid because the music/life style is just soo different!!

[hahaha ive been called an emo!! that is sooo stupid]

has anyone else noticed or encountered this????
