ozzfest getting old, ozzy and bls should tour only

hey from nc who thinks that it would be killer to go see just black label society open for the ozzman ? that would be the best, who cares about some band screaming the whole time every song about the same ole' crap just tryin to be heavier than other bands its old and stupid, sombody wake up, what happened to not doing the same thing everyone else is doing? about 75% of nu metal is redundant and boring same ole', lame ole' come back long live ozzy, zakk and BLS and real rock beyond forever

Replies

I have to agree, about 98%of the new metal bands are crap.I would love to see Slayer,Megadeth,Pro_Pain,Ozzy,Maiden,and Priest do an Ozzfest. Now that would be worth all day in the sun for.Long live real rock and most importantly long live Ozzy.

SCREW NU_ METAL OZZY AND BLS THATS IT I AGREE 100%

hello from nc also. i agree with u yes zack should open for ozzy this would really be great. ozzfest just has 2 many bulls*** bands with him. ozzy is the greatest of all times. i went to an ozzfest concert and some of the bands i had never heard of i was just htere for ozz but it seemed like forever before he played but he was GREAT!!!!! it was well worth the wait.

That would be pretty cool especially if Vinnie stopped his Hell Yeah project and JOINED BLS!!!!!! But I wouldn't mind Ozzfest with more bands like Rob Zombie and Alice In Chains. I saw Ozzfest with Priest and Miaden and lloved every second of it we need more bands like that such as Alice Cooper, Motorhead, AC/DC, ect

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)

Nothing personal against Zakk, or his BLS project, but I could think of a million other bands old & new that I would love to see open up for Ozzy. I personally have had enough of the whole Zakk Wylde fetish thing that seems to have consumed the metal world by storm, but that’s just me, call me square whatever, I just don't get it????

I apologize if this offends anybody, but I just don't see the big deal with BLS. I kind of find it all really weak in comparison to bands like Tool, or System of a Down. I mean to put it mildly I just bought the newest Ministry album Reo Grande, & it rips f***in ass people!

Now I find it sad that a almost 50 year old Al Jourgensen can manage to put out heavier music than Zakk Wylde who is a young pup in comparison, & should be setting an example on how it is done these days, but is instead getting his ass f***ing kicked by a guy old enough to be his daddy. Now before you all regurgitate the same ole crap about how Ministry is so different than BLS. I say bulls***, I don’t buy into labels myself, nor does our boy Ozzy, my motto is if it rocks, it rocks, & so far Zakk just doesn’t rock! I think its kind of sad that Zakk is getting his ass stomped by a 50-year-old Al Jourgensen; the same can be said of new Manson. Manson should be f***in ashamed of him self, all I have to say to the both of them is Al mother f***in Jourgensen!

Peace

hey goat. it is just cool that zakk and the guys are not like tool, and other bands that you will most likely not meet. seen zakk at every ozzfest signing for his fans. it is just awesome to meet the band that you support, shake their hands, and get their sig on some gear. you know, have seen some bands plow you off and still have the biggest fan base and i dont get that?

I hear ya big guy, I relate to all that you said.

I was lucky enough to have met Phil from Pantera, it took my admiration for him a whole lot further. Phil was a class act, he came outside to sign autographs for all of us there, even with it raining, & being as cold as a witches tit outside, lmao!

I have never met Zakk, I did get to meet Ozzy at a signing for the tribute albums release, Ozzy as well was a class act, he is forever a hero of mine! :)

Tool however I agree they plow you off all so well, but that seems to be some of their mystic an all, the band that is so dark & mysterious lol. I love tools music, but I have a suspicion that them boys have a bad case of the ego's if ya catch my drift Hahahahaaaa. In fact Maynard has always struck me as being a little pompous a**hole, but hey I could be mistaken, he could be a alright guy, especially on a one to one basis, who knows really??? Anyway peace bro!

Goat you met Phil? How cool.... I wish Pantara was still around..... System of a Down was a good show before Ozzy (did you go to that Ozzfest)? Here is my take.... LOL I think that.............................the opening act should be..................

1. Ozzy Osbourne and then BLACK SABBATH!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Love U all................

Goodbye To Romance

Ozzy can barely get through one set, let alone two. I've always love the idea that start out with GZR, then Bill Ward band, then Iommi, then a very short set with Ozzy and Zakk, then Sabbath (finishing up with NSD)

no i think they should keep it the same -tons of great bands

as a sdmf(also from NC) i couldnt agree more. this scream s*** SUCKS! BLS is the last true ROCK BAND! jim morrison once said "the death of rock is the death of me" well jim rock has carried since your supposed death, but it will die with zakk wylde and the almighty BLS! support your local chapter of the BLS!
