emo
is anyone else here emo?? no, we are not people who are always depressed and cutting themselves. we may be depressed most times and we may cut ourselves, but we are just people who express our emotions more than others. if you think emos are self-cutting freaks, you are wrong and disrespecting us. christians can be emos. i am. emo means emotional. emo is love. emo is hate. if i have added you as a friend, and you are against emos, you may delete yourself from my list if you would like. if would appreciate it if you would not, be you have the right to do so. if you have a problem with emos, or just want to talk, you can email me at th3.suff3r1ng@yahoo.com.
thnx,
.twiggy.

Look warpig, will you give it a f***ing rest?! look man Korn aren't emo and thats all there is to it. i was never into korn when i first heard them either but they grow on you. man you cant be much of a metal head if you are that closed minded about music. you should lighten up and not judge someones music on how they come across. see you seem like a real f***ing jerk right now but if you wrote anything half as good as those dudes ever have i wouldn't say "i dont like his music because that guys a dick" brcause that would just be closed minded of me and be exactly like you! Your doing the exact same thing. "i dont like them cause i think there emo" what a load of s***! GROW UP!!!!!

Emo? No, I actually have musical taste. Emo music is music where you can go "Yeah, its music rather than sound, but its not very good music"
Why would you like that s***, AND the purE musical genius Ozzy discovered in Randy and Zakk, aswell as his own genius. Learn something about musical quality then listen to some of that stuff you like. Emo doesn't have any talent that Metal and Hard Rock and other good musical generes do. There is no Hendrix, John Lord, Tony Iommi, Page/Plant, Bon Scott, Joe Perry, Dimebag, Freddie Mercury, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, ZZ Top, ect, ect, ect. I'd take like likes of Poison "with their feathers stuck in their ass" (...true Ozzy fans will be the only ones who get this ;)...) even Country, before I'd go to an emo concert.
There is no problem singing about emotions but do it with musical and lyrical skill. But go ahead and like what it is you like, and live in torrnado alley for all I care. But email you? Yeah right, I'm not stupid enough to fall for that.

Lets try to keep to personal attacks away, shall we? As for War Pig and his seemingly unwavering stance that Korn is emo, although I disagree and a lot of other do aswell but nobody can prevent him from exercising his freedom of speech.

to respond to my ignorance is showing you care
I met Rob Zombie way back when devil music first came out before anybody even really knew who they were, I got to go back stage & watch them finish their show opening up for weak ass Danzig. I went backstage to check things out more, decided not to wait for Danzig to make his appearance, but did get a chance to bulls*** with Rob a little. I got his autograph then bailed, I after leaving needed a smoke so badly, but I had lost my lighter, so I immediately gave my backstage pass to a group of girls in exchange for a lighter. The girls were happy, I was happy; it was all good in the neighborhood so to speak.
I must say Rob is a great guy, very down to earth, I loved his early stuff with White Zombie the most I think, the solo music was ok, a bit to much industrial vibe for me, I prefer the old White Zombie sound, I think it worked better myself.
I do however love industrial; have always been a big Ministry fan, Fear Factory, & some NIN. I prefer Trent's older stuff; I think he is pretty much caught in a rut these days. I have always thought Trent was over rated, it just personally rubs me the wrong way when people try to credit Trent with pioneering industrial music, so of course my only rebuttal is Al f***in Jourgensen folks! lol
Anyway don't get me wrong when I get on my rant about new music, I love all music, from Mozart to Slayer, I just have this thing about commercial music, I cant stand anything that is trend like. Such as the boy bands, when you have one guy who is the bad boy, & another that is the shy one, & so on, & so on... I love originality, & an artist has to have a spark in there somewhere. For example Neil Young’s voice is not the music industries ideal sound when it comes to a awesome vocalist, but Neil has a sound all his own, the same can be said for a John Lennon, or Ozzy. There is just something about their voices that makes the hair stand up on your neck when you hear it.
So far even as opened minded as I am, I have as yet not heard an EMO band that can do that for me. For those of you that do get that rush, well knock yourselves out. As for me being into emotion, I love emotion, especially the darker emotions of life. I remember years ago when I was just a kid still & was working one of my first jobs at a local gas station. This lady came in and heard me listening to Slayer; she immediately looked as if she had heard the very bowels of hell open up. She proceeded to say to me, how is it you can listen to that crap all day, when I hear it, it makes me so angry, it’s so extremely violent, and it just makes me want to go out & kill somebody. I stood there a second, laughed and said lady you just named off all the reasons why I love this music, those are the very reasons why I listen to hardcore!.
Why? Because it’s always been an emotional release for me, enough said I think???? Lol

hey, i saw them live a couple of weeks ago ( i had to because they warmed up for ozzy... sad but true), and one of them (they were about 100 in that band) just stood there and did nothing but being emo!!! seriously, it was soooooo emo... the rest of the band was very emo as well. Long live black sabbath, ozzy, judas priest, accept, motörhead, iron maiden, mötely crüe, megadeth, dio (to mention a few...) now that is real metal.

And sane people, the metal-heads, notice hiis inseqcurities, looking for a challenge looking for a fight. That is a sign deep down in his sub-conscience he knows he listens to is a drip to the mighty river that metal and rock is.
