An Open comment to Ozzy Osbourne:

Dear Mr. Osbourne,

How dare you get yourself involved in American politics! Shame on you!
How do you think you are anyways? I like your music but you have NO BUSINESS
sticking your nose in OUR political culiure. YOU are from ENGLAND, NOT America.
So you can (as they say in the UK) SOD OFF with your playing/speaking
at the stupid Jon Stewart rally. I will never buy another Ozzy thing again and I have been
seeing you since the Randy Rhoads days. Are you even alloweed to vote here in America?
Bugger off!

You know, as a non-Obama supporter, Ozzy, I have to say I agree with this post.

My biggest beef with all of this is that you (Ozzy) yourself have said so many times as to be ad nauseum that MUSICIANS ARE NOT POLITICIANS, and THE TWO SHOULD BE LEFT SEPARATE. In fact, you said it just a few months back!

I don't have a CLUE why you would then in a blatant double standard go public and lend your name and your fame to one of the two political agenda's in this country. To all the NON-OBAMA citizens of the US who are your fans, that was a HUGE slap in the face.

"Stewart is popular with Democrats and independents, a Pew Research Center poll found. Colbert of "The Colbert Report" poses as an ultraconservative, and the stage was stacked with entertainers associated with Democratic causes or Obama's 2008 campaign." I have a big issue with this. I just do.

Ozzie,
You are about to read the most curious question that you may have received. I'm an old promoter, presenter, theater manager, producer and may other things including prepping a play for Broadway in 2011. Been around, old, experienced and worked with many rockers and non-rockers. My son is a brilliant young man who who got his BA in math and his master's in computer science. He is a software engineer and making great money at the age of 24. Also, he has followed in the passions of his parents as an actor, pianist, violinist, debate champion in HS and getting the highest of possible grades. Though he may have one part of his head in science and engineeering he really wants more creativity and if he could, he'd become a swing dancer. Whatever he ends up doing, he will be the best with a tremendous sense of humor, acceptance of everybody and every varied view of life. Finally, my question...............I think that he and Kelly would find much in common and share humor, passions and potentially many things. I am not a parent who would ever thing of "fixing him up", but if there is a way for them to meet in a fun way, I think they could at least become friends. So........what do you think. Please feel free to call or have your wife check this strange note out. Either way, we wish kelly a wonderful life and have watched her mature into a lovely young woman. Good luck to you all. Thanks.
