Lyrics? No. Up until Ozzmosis Bob Daisley wrote most of the lyrics and when Jake E Lee was in the band he tagteamed with Bob. Likewise when Zakk joined the band he contributed some (although not a lot of NRFTW). Bob was initially involved with Ozzmosis but most of the material was scrapped and redone when Geezer came on board. For Down To Earth a writting team was hired, I believe because Zakk wasn't there until near the end and by the time he got there all the lyrics were done he just added and changed some of the guitar work around. That brings us to Black Rain, to which I'm not too sure. It is a fairly political album which doesn't seem like Zakk's style but from what I gather is in the past Ozzy has an iadea for a song and the lyrics are written around that idea. The ballads and the bonus track sound a lot more like Zakk than a few others.

Now thats not to say Ozzy has never written anything, thats not true. Ozzy has written 100% of the lyrics on (only) a handfull of songs. In his time in Black Sabbath he wrote three or four leaving Geezer to write the majority of the lyrics. In the begining of Sabbath Ozzy and Geezer would sit down and work together but when the cash was flowing Ozzy thought it a better idea to get stoned and drunk and left more and more of the lyrics to Geezer (something Geezer resented). By Technical Ecstacy Geezer wrote the lyriics and Ozzy didn't even give them a glance (for editing) until the went to record.

After that Ozzy briefly left, due to his father dieing, and Dave Walker took his place and when Ozzy wanted to rejoin the band Never Say Die was practically finished. However Ozzy refused to sing the songs written with Dave and Geezer had to rewrite the lyrics. The only song Ozzy and Geezer worked together for the lyrics for NSD was Junior's Eyes (a song about Ozzy's dad). Under the gun from the record company Breakout was made into an instrumental with the melody played by other instruments and Bill decided to sing Swining The Chain, the only official release that has the remnents of Dave Walker, although an alternate version of Junior's Eyes (IMO much better than Ozzy's) can be found in trading circles.

Tony Iommi = God, his arch angels are Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Walker, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Dave Donato, Glenn Hughes, Ray Gillen, Tony Martin, and Bill Ward (bassically everyone who sang on a song labeled Black Sabbath)
