we were in the car the other day when my son pointed out a sticker on a car and scoffed at it. it was the usual "MY CHILD IS AN HONOR STUDENT AT YADA YADA." he said "mom, what does that have to do with the parent? it's like they're bragging."
being me, i responded "you know, i agree. and to make a statement back to those kinds of minds, they should make one that says something like 'my child is in prison for blowing up things,' or 'my child is a mass murderor.' "
