Well, here is an update to the Randy Rhoads film due out later this year. This news comes from randyrhoads.us (Peter's Facebook page) about the progress on the documentary as of Jan 1, 2010:
"Principal photography ended in October 10th, 2009. We have been shooting pick-up and 2nd unit shots since then. We started in with a different editor in July and have been working consistently since then. The opening 5 minutes are amazing. The first 35 minutes of the film are done. I can't know how long the rest will take. I have tried in the past and have predicted incorrectly. The sooner the better for me. Again, please don't read any negative BS garbage on the internet about this film and think that it is remotely accurate, because it isn't. Again, thanks for the support." Peter Margolis
There is also newly discovered footage of Randy during the 1981 Blizzard Of Ozz tour. Ozzy reported this news on his Twitter page just a few days ago. "Just watched never before seen footage of Randy and me from 1981. I’m speechless. I will share with you later this year on a live dvd." Randy Rhoads fans everywhere finally have something to be excited about after 28 years. YEAH!!
