Got to see Ozzy on his very first UK Tour in 1980. I saw him at Hull City Hall on 18th October.
Blizzard of Ozz had just been released a month earlier and it just blew me away, so I could'nt wait to see him on tour. I'd never seen Ozzy before so the exitement was unbelievable, I could'nt wait. The concert was brilliant, loved it all, from the opener I Don't Know to closer Paranoid, he played the full Blizzard album plus b-side You Looking at Me Looking at You.
The City Hall in Hull is quite a small venue so the atmosphere was unbelievable, I was down the front in the thick of it all, brilliant. Glad I got to see the original Blizzard line-up with Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake who were great, and Randy was amazing, so sad I never got to see him again.
(I had tickets for the UK Diary of a Madman Tour the following year but Ozzy cancelled it last minute, I'm still pissed about that now, 30 yrs later)
Overall my frst live Ozzy experience was brilliant, I've had the pleasure of seeing him loads of times since, on almost every UK Tour he's done , as well as loads of festivals, and I'm looking forward to seeing hum again at London's 02 Arena in September, bring it on.o

Here's a photo from my first ever Ozzy concert, ahh memories.
